We are a website development company and do various projects using oscommerce. We have an existing website done in a modified oscommerce. We need a change to it.

Overview:
– we have the site in a development area that you will be required to make the change on
– We have a system for sellers already coded into the website. This allows the website operator to allow sellers to list their products on the website and take a commission from the sale of a product
– We have a report that the website administrator views. This report allows the selection of a date range and a seller and displays the items sold and commission only for items that still have a commission to be paid. see attached.
– the problem with this is the admin does not know which seller has a sale, so the admin must select each seller (and if there are many this will take long) to see if the seller has a sale

Work outline:
– The drop down list entitled “Select Seller” needs to have as one of the selections “All Sellers”
– when a date range and All sellers are selected a list of sellers need to be presented only showing those that have sales with commissions still to be paid for the period selected.
– the admin can then click on one of these sellers and then see the information that is now presented when a single seller is selected.
– We know that after we give you access to the code you may need to revise your bid and time to deliver.

Requirements
– programmer should be already familiar with OSC
– once work is completed the programmer must be available during our work hours (6EST to 2EST) to make quick adjustments as we test and there are any problems. Chat communication and possibly telephone (we will call) will be required for this.

Working method
After task acceptance you will receive access credentials for working on our webserver.
You should provide status progress update at every request and you should notice us for any problems and doubts about the specs BEFORE than start coding. The specs are not changable during the work and any changement or differences must be agreed with us. Any behaviour that faces against that will be under your own responsability. You have to contribute to make an easy and fast communication by IM (vocal chat if its necessary too). We are fully available to support you in this work, hence we expect it will be an excellent work. We also expect you would provide the right consultancy for making this work better, if it requires.

Project requirements:

– Drupal 6.x
– No core modification allowed.
– good and clean coding with a reasonable drupal friendly logic.

NB: long prospective cooperation could be taken in account for many projects planned for 2010.

I have a site similar to an auction site, like this http://www.trademe.co.nz/ BUT it has adds only, no auctions, just Wanted adds, Selling Now adds and Public Announcements adds with photos and details of add, also paid membership through PayPal, internal email system etc.. The good news is, 80% of the site is complete, we still need many things to be completed so all the functions work correctly, mainly small stuff and the Selling Now section has yet to be built but can be basically the same as the Wanted section that is already built and working. I am able to do 90% of the graphics and have already including any flash that has also been completed. I have detailed graphical notes all listed in saved emails explaining each item that needs work, it’s all very well explained to avoid confusion.

So the situation is that I contracted a programmer (not through here) to build me this site and the deal was 25 days and $1000 USD. It is now 7 months later and we have a site that we cant launch as it is only 80% made, we need a good experienced php programmer that can quickly and efficiently (roughly 2 weeks) with my daily help if required (I am a designer too but not php) complete this website. Most things are built and working, the CMS admin is all working but will need Selling Now and a few things added.

Generally it’s not too much work,but having an experienced php programmer with good web design skills is a must.

I have a complete copy of the site and the DB, all the files. I have hosting all ready and the domain name, the PayPal is ready it’s all been done.

Obviously I have had a bad experience with getting this site made, its now 7 months down the track and still no website, and all the money is paid up, I have been taken for a long ride and ended up with basically nothing but a bunch of files. That $1000 USD cost me $1500 NZD too, the exchange rate for us is not good.

So if you think you can quickly and efficiently complete this website and you won’t mess me around like the last guy, bid on this project please. Remember I need top class work, such as the photo gallery that needs to be built for the advertisement pages needs to
be sharp and professional, the rest of the site is. I think this is a great job for someone with the skills, all the hard work is done already.

There would be only one way to do this and it would involve meeting a deadline that we could negotiate prior to starting and all the money would definately be through escrow after my recent bad experience. So a fair deadline for completion would be agreed on after the winning bidder has had time to see everything that needs to be done and had time to come up with a resonable time frame too.

Experienced PHP and web design people only apply please, must have many good references.

Couple of years back we had made a client (vb6) server (php-xampp) application in order for automatic and scheduled file upload and download. The server worked fine in win200 server with xampp, but when i migrate it to win2003 server the client cannot connect anymore giving subscript error 9.
We need to debug the server app in order to work with win2003 server and up.
its a simple php server that listens to a specific port for the clients. Whens its time the clients authenticate to the server (username password that is validated to the server oracle database) and if are ok then the client uploads some txt files and downloads an excell file.

we want to a search script; like that.

if somebody search a country (for example country1) script will find all country1 entries in country column and will write only “Country1 and sum of populations. ”

in the form;
– user can be select week (will searched in week_no column – all unique entries will be listed once) (user can be choose multiple weeks)
– user can be choose (if he wants multiple) continent (will searched in continent – all unique entries will be listed once) than user can select countries which has got choosen continents in the table (all countries will be listed once); than user can select states which has got choosen countries…. and go on like that.

for our script;
continent > country > state > city > town > village

We are a UK based property (mls) website with a number of real estate agents feeding data into the site in a number of various formats including RMv3, BLM files, XML feeds etc.

We seek a PHP programmer that must have current experience in dealing with pull and push data feeds/urls. If you have worked on the rightmove.co.uk datafeed, then this project is just up your street!

The project itself is to develop a new module that will enable us to add further agent feeds to the site in different formats (BLM, .txt and csv types) without the need for further development – a plug in and play module if you like!

Search engine for the listings by location, area, type, business name, advance search engine with more options, like facilities, price range. These options will be manage through the admin area, ability to add more options. The search results will be displayed with a photo of each listing.
Hotel owners will be possible to register (administration must activate each listing) and add modify their listing.
Registration form: Full Name, Hotel Name , Area, email, username, password, spam protection (captcha) activation link be email. Ability to set price for each listing.
Admin will be able to activate, deactivate, edit, and delete members.
Each hotel listing will have the follow information:
