Parties clarify coalition stances

NI parties are setting out their positions on a Westminster coalition as formal talks between Labour and the Lib Dems are due to begin.

The DUP said it was not ideologically opposed to a Lib-Lab agreement but would vote in the interests of NI.

The SDLP said it would prefer an agreement between Labour and the Liberal Democrats.

Gordon Brown, who is to step down as Labour leader, said talks with the Lib Dems were in the "national interest".

Role

BBC Northern Ireland political editor Mark Devenport explained the potential role for Northern Ireland MPs in a coalition.

"If Labour did a deal with the Liberal Democrats, they would have a parliamentary strength of 315," he said.

"That is 11 short of the formal margin for a Commons majority of 326 but the absence of the five Sinn Fein MPs lowers the effective margin to 324.

"If all the 13 remaining Northern Ireland politicians decided to back a Labour and Liberal Democrat government, that would take a Labour and Liberal Democrat government to 328, enough for a very small majority."

DUP deputy leader Nigel Dodds said that his party was not ideologically opposed to a deal between Labour and the Liberal Democrats.

"We would only be prepared to look at things on a case by case basis," he said.

"We have always said that we would only do so on the basis of Northern Ireland’s interests being protected in terms of the block grant, the economy and so forth."

Alasdair McDonnell of the SDLP said his party would prefer a Lib-Lab deal "because of the horrific memories of the Conservatives under Thatcher".

He added that his party believed David Cameron was planning "slash and burn" cuts.

Block grant

Meanwhile, Stormont party leaders have discussed reaching a common position on the NI block grant as their MPs votes could be vital in forming a new government.

A meeting took place on Monday, attended by the Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams, the SDLP leader Margaret Ritchie and David Ford of Alliance.

Both unionist leaders sent their apologies.

It is understood the matter is likely to be discussed at a meeting of the Stormont executive on Thursday.

During First Minister’s Questions in the Assembly on Monday, the new Alliance MP for East Belfast, Naomi Long, again suggested that the 13 MPs intending to take their seats should seek common ground on defending Northern Ireland’s interests.

Dmv Search Engine Scrapers

We currently need two data scrapers that will search on the following pages for data, and then collect the data and place it into a mysql database for later retrieval. A database with all California zip codes will be provided to you.

The scrapers will search the following links:
SCRAPER A)https://mv.dmv.ca.gov/olinq2/authorize.do
SCRAPER B)http://www.bar.ca.gov/pubwebquery/Station/StationList.aspx

SCRAPER A needs to perform a search of all CA zip codes and store the following information in a mysql table:
1. Name of Business
2. Address of Business
3. Phone Number
4. Location Opened
5. Location Closed
6. License to Provide, Offer or Sell
7. License Number
8. License First Issued
9. Operator or Contact
10. Owner of Business
11. Mailing Address
12. Other Business Name
13. Zip of Search
14. City of Search

All of this information is available from the search results. I will provide a DB of all zip codes in California for use by the scraper.

Css Website And Logo Design

I need someone that is an expert in CSS/XHTML to design a W3C compliant CSS ONLY (no tables) based website (only three pages).

The web pages will need to look just like clear.com.

I have sketches that I will send upon acceptance to show what the personalization will be (mostly just different link and button text and different graphics). I will need the html and stylesheets to be well documented and easily reusable and expandable, so that new divs and forms and such can be created for other pages. It would also be nice to have some web 2.0 style icons made (probably 3 – standard stuff like map, mail, print etc.). The web design will not have a lot of guesswork as you are just mimicking the clear.com website. I would like to keep the colors the same or similar.

I will also need a logo designed for this site. I would like for it to be clean and fit the look of the style of the clear.com website that I am looking for. (the simple and clean look of the logos at logopond.com appeal to me)

The logo and site are for a mobile real estate investment website.

Problem With Wp Super Cache 2

We installed WP Super Cache plugin on my wordpress blog a couple of weeks ago. And then about a week, we had to move the site to a new server.

Since then we published 2 articles a couple of days ago and the changes are not being updated on the site. Also, when you look at view source, the cache says: “Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2010-05-04”. So it’s only displaying cached pages from 3 days ago

When I logged into my WordPress control panel to check the configuration of WP Super Cache there was an error message there saying the wp-cache folder needs to be writeable for it to work. I contacted my host to ask them to make the folder writeable by the server. After they made the directory writable, I got the following message upon visiting the site:

“Forbidden

You don’t have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

…..So I need for someone to look take a look at the above problem and fix it.

I am looking for an expert in SEO to move my website and future websites up to a first page ranking in Google for KEYWORDS I will provide.

My current website is a wordpress site, and the main keywords for this project should be extremely easy to jump this site into the first page in Google for those keywords. There are currently no ads being run for the main keywords, and there are only about 76,000 results showing up for them as well. Some of the more broad ranging keywords won’t be as easy.

Of course all aspects of SEO are required –
