Sh404sef Expert Needed

I need to understand how to use sh404sef. We have installed this component alongside FJ related for a Joomla site. I have also installed an extension for sh404sef to make it compatible with FJ related

Here are a few issues to resolve:
1) to change some URLs, and redirect automated URLs to come here instead. (I have created custom URLs but they don’t seem to work)
2) to remove ?layout=blog from the URLs for blog layouts
3) to remove some URLs that the component automatically creates and stop it from creating them in future (pages we don’t want indexed)

If you have used sh404sef with FL related, that is a bonus and we would consider you to work with us on this.
