Playstation Plus coming to Vita November 19

During Tokyo Game Show Sony announced that PlayStation Plus would be making its way onto the PlayStation Vita in November. Well now they have officially announced that November comes on the 19th, along with the next PS Vita System Software Update (v2.00).

As soon as you update your PS Vita to v2.00 and PS Store is updated next Tuesday, PS Plus members will immediately be able to download the Instant Game Collection. In the beginning this includes the following games:

The software update includes the following:

  • A new email app supports Gmail, Yahoo, and other unspecified email providers.
  • You can now connect wirelessly to a PC to transfer Vita content.
  • The browser and video apps have been updated as well, to enable playback of 1080p videos (but not in 1080p)
  • Tweeting of URLs from within the browser, and improved website display

PS3 users with an existing PS Plus membership will be able to enjoy PS Plus features and services on both PS3 and PS Vita systems at no additional cost. Furthermore you can choose between the two subscription options — a three month plan for $17.99 and a one year plan for $49.99.
