I’ve mentioned some great controls that could be used for making custom alert views such as this elegant modal popup maker, and this Tweetbot style alert maker.
If you’re looking to create an alert that is a little more subtle, here’s a nice control for creating discrete alert views.
You simply load them up with a message (multiple line messages accepted) set the delay and your message is good to go.
