Premium iOS Cocos2D Game Example And Level Editor Open Sourced

Ricardo Queseda and the Cocos2D iPhone team have done a great job with the updates to v2.1, and the CocosBuilder level editing tool.

Today the premium source code example Sapus Tongue, and the premium level editing tool LevelSVG were open sourced by Ricardo.

Here they are along with the demo videos:

1.  Sapus Tongue

This was a game that was in the app store for quite some time that made extensive use of physics and the accelerometer.  A simple game, but designed to be an example of using the Cocos2D engine.  It has been updated to use Cocos2D v2.0.

You can find the Sapus Tongue repository on Github here.

2. LevelSVG

This is a project that allows you to create levels using the SVG editor complete with physics and more.

You can read more details and find the manual on the Sapus Media site and find the repository on Github here.

The version in the official repository does not yet use Cocos2D v2.0 but it looks like there are already some forks being created  such as this branch with some updates for Cocos2D v2.0 (untested).

A couple of great projects now open source.
