Facebook reaches 1 billion active monthly users – Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg announced on Thursday that his social networking service now has more than one billion active monthly users.

Apple Releases Mountain Lion 10.8.2 And Lion 10.7.5 Supplemental Updates – Apple has quietly released two supplemental updates for OS X Mountain Lion and Lion today. The first supplemental update for OS X 10.8.2 is available now in the Mac App Store.

Apple Named Second-Best Brand in the World  – There’s a horribly pessimistic saying in which second place is called “first loser.” But when talking about the absolute largest, most recognizable brands on the planet, second place sure seems like a huge achievement. Amazon Cloud Drive update adds easy iPhoto album uploads for Mac users – Amazon issued a press release today to announce that its Cloud Drive service is rolling out in Italy and Spain after hitting the United Kingdom, France, and Germany earlier this month. An easier way of uploading iPhoto albums for Mac users is also included in the updated Cloud Drive app release

Apple’s ‘shake to print’ concept would add custom printing options to iOS devices – A pair of new patent filings reveal a concept from Apple that would allow users to select custom settings for printing by moving or interacting with an iPhone or iPad in unique ways.
