iPhone 5 Hex Grid Wallpapers

The new iPhone 5 is a quite ridiculously beautiful thing, with far and away the best build quality (high praise indeed) of any iOS device I’ve yet owned. We took delivery of a black one and a white one last Friday, and whilst the lightness and solidity are striking, the most arresting aspect of the phone is of course its screen.

You really do need to see the thing in person to grasp the crispness, density, saturation and balance. This photo doesn’t even remotely do it justice.

I’m fan of hexagonal grids as backgrounds, so I’ve created a few that you can use as wallpapers (at 640 x 1136 pixels) on your own iPhone 5. They’re on Flickr, and are linked below (with a direct link to the full-sized version in each case).
