I require a programmer to work threw these 3 main projects. Once you’ve completed one and we’ve resolved all the issues, you’ll be able to move onto the next. Please place you bid based on completing all 3. I of course off a bonus for success and time, the quicker the better.
1. FORUM
I’ve set up a new forum on the website and require it to be integrated into the current website. It can be found at /forum/. Please work directly on the website as there isn’t an active link to the forum yet. This will also helps us to keep all the files up to date. You’ll need to:
– Please remove the old forum completely from the current db. I think all the tables are shown as tf_?
– I have set up the template files and placed them into smarty/templates/forum.tpl and modules/forum.inc respectively. If you can work with these files that would be great as I’ve already removed the columns for the forum to fit the full 909px.
– The new forum’s db tables are all called ‘forum_’ It may be possible to change the forums db table names to ‘users’ in the forums admin area. It mite make it easier for you to then add the values to the current ‘users’ table that the website already uses.
If you know a simpler way of making the forum read from the current users table please let me know as we need all of the forums options working correctly.
– Make sure all accounts are able to post and in the admin area I should be able to select which accounts can do certain things.
– Make sure all accounts can message each other
– Hide the Registration section on the forum so they can’t register this way at the moment as well as the Members link.

– Make sure the Login forum on the forum works correctly for all accounts. This should work if all accounts are able to post
– Add a ‘Messages’ link in the My Account section with a count of unread messages next to it. This will simply link to the forums message section.
– You’ll need to make sure the title of the web page is the title of the topic and that the title also appears in the H2. If you could also update the metatag with the title of the topic followed by the standard would be great.

– Make sure all pages are picked up by the sitemap by both Google and Yahoo
– In the forums ‘Profile’ section which is in the User Control Panel, this should be hidden as we’ve already got this in the ‘My Account’ section.
– Link up all avatars with the ones currently used on the website and profile pages.
– You’ll also need to link up the profiles with the profile pages currently in place not with the forums profile pages. The forum won’t be active so you can make updates direct to the website as the forum is installed on a different db so we can easily edit this without tempering with the website itself.
2. REVIEWS
In the admin area we’re going to have a new section called ‘Reviews’. We need to be able to add products in the admin area.
– A new db table should be created.
We will need to sort the following information:
*Category
*Subcategory
*Manufacturer (Inc add manufacturer)
*Product Name
*Description
*Price (if we can possibly have 3 boxes, one for GBP, one for USD and one for the Euro. Atleast one should have numbers in. If I have a price for all three it should show all three on the review page)
*Image (this should be placed into images/stores/products)
*User Reviews
– You’ll need to duplicate the product pages except rename them review etc.
Products we add to receive reviews should be shown as /review/455 for example with the title ‘Product Name Review – Ub Music’.
On this page will display the details we’ve added except we’re going also add the ‘text comments’ section we use for the tracks page. The reviews should be saved in the review product db table as a value. This way users will be able to post reviews for individual products, please include the thumbs up and down and all the current options.
At upcomingbeats.com/reviews/ should be the same as /products/ displaying the Main Product Reviews. You’ll need to add something to equipment categories or so if reviews is chose it shows the product categories with reviews?

3. TEMPLATES
From the new review templates section we have now created in the admin area, stores will be able to add these templates as products to their stores account.
With the same drop down menu system for the product review (select ‘category’ then ‘sub category’ and then product) store will be able to select which review template to use.
– Once they’ve selected the product it should bring up the description and all the other information we’ve already added including image.
It should not include the price
– They can of course edit the information, but when saved will save as a NEW product in the ‘product area’ in the db and on their stores account.
– As the image is already saved in images/stores/products this should not be duplicated.
– All stores should have access to the templates we’ve added in the admin area as reviews.
– When a store uses a product template a link to the products ‘Review Page’ should be place on the stores product advert. This should also have a count of how many reviews there are for this product. For example ‘Reviews 4 Comments’
When logged in as a store, we need to add a new section inside the ‘Create Product Advert’ giving them an option of either ‘Creating a new product advert’ or ‘Creating a product from a template’
