I have a site that I need redesigned. I have a new logo for it that doesn’t match so I want the menus and header redesigned in such a way that everything looks good. This will not require a lot of work, but will require good artistic skills.

In addition to that, I need a landing page designed that matches the new site theme. It will have a lightbox that allows the user to make a selection. When submitted, another lighbox will slide in using a transition effect of some kind. There will three boxes in total. I want this done using jQuery. The script will then add the collected data to a database. I will add that code myself.

I need someone who can start immediately and finish in less than 48 hours. Must have excellent English skills and follow instructions to a tee. Previous examples of sites that you’ve designed is a must. Some sort of jQuery example is also required. Bids above the project budget will be ignored.

If you do a good job, I’ll start you on a new task as soon as this one is done.

THE DETAILS:

I am currently running an online business directory. It has 1700 businesses and is using the Sobi2 business directory component.

Problem: I switched from a static HTML site to Joomla and the Sobi2 directory last August. In that time I have dropped significantly in ranking.

What I want: to have the business directory on my site operate EXACTLY like goldbook.ca. Especially the search feature which allows users to search by “Cateogry” or “Business Name”. Search by town/city is NOT necessary.

*Right now I’m using Google Custom search and it’s really not cutting it. IT does not allow my visitors to search by “Cateogory” or “Business Name”. **IF you can figure this out then excellent.

What I want: to match goldbook.ca in ranking on Google for the town of Milton, Ontario only. I don’t care about the other towns. I just want to regain my Google ranking to where I was ahead of Goldbook last year (in the past I ALWAYS beat them on searches when I was a static HTML site).

To figure out WHY I DON’T RANK as high anymore on Google. I still receive many thousands of visitors a month but do not show on the first page of Google for many searches related to my town. WHY?

I don’t really care if you use Sobi2 by Sigsiu or another business directory component for Joomla.

I have all the data available via export to a CSV file.

YOU MUST: be an expert with Joomla and Joomla SEO
YOU MUST: be familiar with Sobi2 and business directory components
YOU MUST: be able to import the data from the Sobi2 CSV file into a text domain (which I have set up already complete with Joomla installation)
You MUST: duplicate the search feature of goldbook.ca so that the searches are by either “Category” or “Business Name”

Search Must Also: Search the articles within my site. I have about 100 different articles outside of the business directory component.

Budget: Maximum $300. Please do Not bid if you are over this amount.

Once the first part is complete (transfer of all data from existing directory via CSV, set up of new directory component if necessary, set up of search feature that is EXACTLY like goldbook.ca, figuring out why my ranking has dropped so dramatically) then there is another step involved in formatting the new site which will be a separate bid or bonus.

I posted this job a few times and none of the bidders would get back to me or write the articles, I need someone dependable that can do many jobs like this for me monthly. I want some website pages re-written in English with no grammar errors and original content, I do understand there will be some errors but not the whole page. I do not want you to use a script to re-write as I can detect this and I will use copyscape so they have to be re-written, or at least each sentence manually changed to make sense.

My site is atticantiques.com.au. I want to add a page atticantiques.com.au/testimonials.php where there would be user testimonials. I would like a admin area where I can add user testimonials and that page would get updated automatically. On the testimonials page, there should be a form that customers can fill out to submit their own testimonials (testimonial, name,url, email.) and I would receive an email notifying me that a customer submitted a new testimonial and I would need to go in the admin area to approve or reject it. Once approved, it would automatically appear on the testimonials page. In the admin area, I should also be able to edit/delete entries. I also need a link from the home page added please

I have a website where my members can login to their members area and manage photos. Within this area they can use jquery crop to crop their images, create animated gifs, etc. I need another function for them to be able to blur certain areas of their photos. For example I would like a round brush selection tool so they can drag it over the area of the photo they want to apply a blur to when they apply the blur it should only blur out the section they had applied it to of the image NOT THE WHOLE IMAGE. they can apply this function as many times until the they are happy with the blur.
