m3u8 link does not showing in the dev tools

On some streaming sites, the m3u8 link doesn’t load in the browser’s dev tool -> network section.
Could it be hidden by the site developer? If so, is there any way to get it?

I tried using m3u8 sniffer extensions but to no avail.
