WordPress Mu Site
Using WordPress MU, I want to build a complete blog network where unlimited users and blogs can be added. Here is what I want to have completed with my network:
. I want to monetize my network with paid updgrades, revenue sharing programs, and other affiliate ads
. Add a forum using the bbPress script
. Add a social networking feature using BuddyPress
. Make the site Spam free
. Allow connection to other social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter
. Allow users to customize their blogs.
What I already have:
. Hosting account through HostGator
. Domain name
. StudioPress theme package
. Outline of how site should work
If you have experience with WordPress MU and have a portfolio of examples, that would be preferred. I am also open for suggestions on plugins and customization options.
For the experienced programmer and web designer, this should be a straightforward project based on WordPress MU’s easy install and customization options. I have limited programming knowledge, so I need a programmer who can complete the site and also provide some additional support so that I know how to manage the site moving forward.
