I am looking for someone to assist with website and software design for a start-up email marketing service providing company. Please refer to constantcontact.com or jangomail.com for examples of what our operations will be like, as we will be a copycat of them. Our users will be registering, via our website, for an account with us. From there they will upload their customers contact information from their personal databases into ours. For database connectivity, we need software so that the database can talk to our customer’s databases and extract the information necessary to send out a mass email.
For our users composing the emails, we need to have a variety of professional templates to choose from. We also need an email editor, autoresponder, and image hosting. Our database of customer contact info needs to have contact management features like list management, list segmentation, list cleanup, and the ability to handle unsubscribe requests. After our users send the emails, we need to be able to generate analysis reports listing the statistics/activity of the sent emails. Things like opens, unopens, bounces, forward, click rates, unsubscribes need to be in the reports.
