Social / Semantic Web App
Start-up is developing a web application that combines the best of semantic and social networks with an intuitive graphic UI. This shall be a fun project for 6-9 months!
We want to build a well-organized team of 3 people with good spirit in the Czech Republic with regular meetings in Prague.
(I was even thinking of posting this in the “Jobs” section …)
Please, don’t respond to this if you can’t make it to Prague at least every two weeks.
Profiles for team members are as follows:
1 technical lead
Good conceptual thinking and communication skills, fluent in English. Knowledge about semantic web and OpenSocial / Facebook API and experience with open-source projects would be a plus. Sound knowledge of MySQL, Apache, PHP. At least basic knowledge of RDF, Adobe Flex and AJAX; experiences in developing a complex web application.
Should be able to work a TRD against our brief and to set up a development framework.
Available for at least 30 hours a week.
1 web/PHP developer
Good command of English, sound knowledge of MySQL, Apache and PHP. Knowledge about semantic web and OpenSocial / Facebook API and experience with open-source projects area would be a plus.

1 Adobe Flex UI developer
Good command of English, very good knowledge of Adobe Flex/Flash and (X)HTML, basic knowledge of AJAX, MySQL, Apache and PHP. Experiences with open-source projects would be a plus.

We’re happy to work with people fresh from university as long as they have a good ambition and experiences in web development.
