Virtually every page on CanLaw has a link on the right hand side which people use to order a banner ad on that page.
Pages are priced differently depending on traffic
There are some variables and I want to create option boxes which will offer advertisers the choices and then display only
the option chosen.
OPTION 1: WHAT PAGE DO YOU WANT YOUR AD ON?
The form currently uses a short referrer script to insert the page from which the advertiser came. Usually
that is where they would want to place their ad.
If client wants a different page,they should go to the page they want and click the order link. Pages are
priced differently depending on traffic
OPTION 2: WHAT SIZE AD DO YOU WANT?
This form permits people to place ads based on a 150 X 175PX or 1 inch x 1.25 inch size per unit. They
can buy one, two or three units for their ad.
BASED ON CHOICE OF AD SIZE, THE COST WILL BE CALCULATED (includeing 5% GST) and transferred to the YOUR
PAYMENT DETAILS ON THE FORM
OPTION 3: WHERE ON THE PAGE DO YOU WANT YOUR AD?

OPTION 4: CHOOSE A WEB LINK OR AN EMAIL LINK
Choice of either a link to their web siter OR an email link
OPTION 5: Do you want a graphic in your ad? If yes customer must email it to CanLaw in jpg or gif format sized to
fit space requested
OPTION 6: CREATE YOUR AD or SEND US YOUR AD
People can select create or send.
Send would probably pop up a note which just says something like “attach your ad to an email when ready
and email it to canlaw
cREATE YOUR AD RIGHT NOW:
I want something simple which lets people create a simple text ad with choices like bold,
underline, fonts, colour of fonts, border or no border.
An example is our page at http://www.canlaw.biz/addapplicant.aspx but that page would need to be
simplified for this project
I WOULD LIKE CLIENTS TO SEE THEIR AD AS THEY CREATE IT SO THEY CAN TINKER BEFORE THEY SEND IT TO US.
Note there are THREE versions of this form. The only difference is the pricing. So do the one form and then copy the changed pricing to versions for the other two.
You can use html and or PHP. I am open to suggestions for improvement here.
