PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Computer programmer or computer technician familiar with the PHP programming language, and MySQL database technology.
Able to assist us with queXS installation, testing and set-up + Asterisk installation,
testing and set-up, with programming a CATI Questionnaire/survey using
queXS, and training on both the queXS and Asterisk software (perferably here in NYC). With a day or two reading the queXS and Asterisk documentation and testing the system, who can install and assist us 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

We are looking for a Computer programmer / technician familiar with the PHP programming language, and MySQL database technology who with a reading of the queXS documentation, can install (run offsite ) and test the system and programm the Questionnaire.
Anyone with PHP know-how would be able to help, if the person is familiar with LimeSurvey, much the better, as queXS uses LimeSurvey for the actual survey instruments, queXS only requires a web browser to operate.
Asterisk Automatic dialing software

Automatically dialing, a telephone server needs to be set up (this can be run offsite, on our dedicated server). Automatic dialing involves a telephone server would need to be set up, along with a VoIP provider. One (1) or two (2) of our workstation(s) would need a software VoIP telephone set up also. This would would be run offsite and accessed remotely like a website. Also, the workstations will require a software VoIP client along with a headset and microphone. For automatic dialing, a system similar to skype is used.
A telephone server called Asterisk (www.asterisk.org) needs to be set up (this can be done remotely by you using our dedicated server), and a VoIP provider (will need to be selected by you) to make outgoing calls.
PROGRAMMING A QUESTIONNAIRE
Program a queXS CATI software questionnaire on our behalf. We will provide:
1. A draft of the questionnaire
2. How many interviewers will be accessing the CATI system: Two (2)
3. What web browser do we use: We use IE, Firefox
TRAINING
queXS is similar to surveymonkey/etc in the way it uses a web browser to collect responses. We will need training on how to use the necessary queXS call and case management features that are required for CATI interviewing, such as being able to make appointments, managing a telephone sample, managing interviewers and the queXS performance, and managing shifts for interviewers to work in features.
queXS produces reports such as outcomes of cases in the AAPOR standard format. The data collected by the telephone interviewers is exported in a format for Excel or SPSS. The data can be exported as CSV, Excel, R or SPSS format. We will need training on how to export the data.
