Budgeting Tools
I need some custom budgeting tools created for my wordpress blog. Budgeting tools should be written in PHP/JavaScript/MySQL and can simply be links off my main page.
Budgeting Tools:
Budgeting Worksheet – this is a form that users will fill out and submit, a series of rules will execute, and the user will be presented with a report. I will provide you with the rules, they are written in a simple IF THEN ELSE form nothing complicated. On submit we want to insert the data to a MySQL database. The report will need to be printable and ideally have the ability to save as PDF. Additionally the rules will hightlight areas that are over or under predefined thresholds. I’ll provide the winning bidder with the form details and example excel worksheet to use as a design.
Debt Reduction Worksheet – this is a form that users will fill out and submit. Users will enter information about a loan (current balance, payment amount, and interest rate) the form will compare the time it takes to pay off a lone with the current payment vs. current payment plus additional principal. I’ll provide a sample excel form to use as a design.
Financial Planning Tools:
Retirement Estimator – this is a form that allows users to input their current savings amount, monthly savings amount, a onetime annual deposit, years to retirement and their target retirement goal. With this information, the estimator will provide you with a report of best-case, worst-case, and expected retirement balance as well as the probability of hitting retirement goal. Don’t worry I’ll provide you with an example piece of code in Perl which performs the estimation calculations you will have to convert it to PHP and tie it all together.
All tools should have a similar look and feel to the blog theme. Winning bidder will be responsible for creation and installation of code.
