Rewrite Urls
Looking to make URL’s more SEO friendly.
Need to create .htaccess file using rewrite rule to do this BUT may also require going into PHP code in files.
Must have experience in “Network Solutions” hosting as they seem to be different from others.
A page of the site has listing of articles outlined in a PHP file.
When user selects a heading shows now as:
http://www.example_domain.com/knowledge/articles.php?h1=1&h2=8
Would like URL to be:
http://www.example_domain.com/knowledge/articles/getting-started/setting-up-shop/
The page above lists the articles under the heading1 of “getting started” and heading 2 of “Setting up shop”
If user selects an article under here then this is the URL:
http://www. example_domain.com /knowledge/articles-detail.php?id=17 (shows file in “articles-detail.php” and not “articles.php”)
And I want this to be:
http://www.example_domain.com/knowledge/articles/is-entrepreneurship-for-you
The URL is the title of the article
