Data Scraping Or Extraction From E-commerce Websites

I need to extract or scrape (I don’t know the difference, but I have attached a sample of what I need) the data for all of the items sold on multiple websites that sell the same types of items that we do. To start with I’d like to start with the following 2 websites: ebonyline.com and hairsisters.com. I have attached a sample of 2 items’ datas that I have extracted from ebonyline.com, but I would like to do all of the items that they sell. I don’t HAVE TO have the code to rerun this process later on, so if you are only going to provide me with the data, then please let me know that in your quote. If you can include the application/source code so that I can rerun this extraction every few months, then please let me know what you would charge for the data only, and how much for the data AND the application. Based on the pricing, I will let you know whether I want to pay extra for the application, or if I just need the data.

The sample files I have attached are for ebonyline.com. As far as the sample data for ebonyline.com is concerned, please see the excel attachment which is the data, and the jpg attachments which are the images that go with the data (for the 2 sample items). This is basically what information I need for each item on this website.

Hairsisters.com has 2 extra fields that I would like to extract, but I’m not sure if this is possible. These 2 fields are “length” and “Style”. The last attachment called “ezsearch” shows the different fields available on hairsisters.com, and of these fields the “brand” and “category” are easy to locate when you are on the item page, but I don’t see the “style” and “length” printed on the actual item page, so please let me know if you’ll also be able to extract these 2 fields for each item.

As far as the sample data goes, I don’t see the length and the style when I am down at the item level. In otherwords, there is no field that is visible that says the length, or the style. However, as you can see, the site hairsisters.com does allow you to navigate by searching for a particular length or style. So, I’m wondering if you can somehow extract this data. For example, if you go to the ez search at this url http://www.hairsisters.com/ver2/ezStep1.php you wil see that you can search for all products based on their length and style (as well as brand, and category which are easier to figure out where the information comes from). If you look at the snipped example, I have selected a particular Category, Brand, Style, and Length, and the search tool has given me 4 search results. The brand, and the category are easy because these are fields that all of our competitors’ websites have. However, the style and length seem to be fields that are not actually shown at the item level.

If you can’t figure out how to capture the length and style for hairsisters.com, please let me know, and perhaps we can skip that website and just do ebonyline.com. I really would like to have this information though, if it is at all possible.

Again, I’m kind of in a hurry, so I would appreciate you getting back to me asap. I am available over the weekend also, if you need to speak.

Finally, once we do these first 2 sites, I have several others competitor’s sites that I want to do the same thing with, so please let me know what you would charge for additional sites in the future.
