I am looking for an experienced programmer familiar with WordPress and the WooThemes framework to add customizations to my existing blog.
Working from the free Premium News wordpress theme from WooThemes (http://www.woothemes.com/2007/11/premiumnews/), I’ve worked up a simple wireframe using some screen grabs from site examples to give you a general idea of what I’m going for. Here are some more details:
> 3-column layout
> traditional blog style: posts feed in order of publish date on front page
> left sidebar: 160 pixels: widget-driven/managed
> middle content column: 500 pixels: post title, thumbnail image, post summary text
> right sidebar: 300 pixels: widget-driven/managed
> header category menu with thumbnail and title: 5 categories: included in header of every post/page
> banner ad space within content stream
I’m not in a big rush, but I’m looking for someone who can make these modifications and additions to the WooThemes framework so that updates can be made within wordpress admin via the WooThemes theme options.
