We need a Zen Cart expert to create the following Add-On for us:
– Add-On allows us to offer a discount when someone buys several items together as a kit. Example, we have 5 different size items and we would like to offer a discount to encourage customers to buy all five. However, we do not want to create a new item for the set of 5 because it will create and imbalance in the inventory tracking and we will lose track of how many of each item we have left.
– The quantity in stock of the kit should equal the quantity in stock of the product with the lowest inventory count of the various products in the kit.
– When the kit is purchased, the quantity of each of the included items would go down by one.
– There is an existing similar Add-On available but it only works with two items at a time –> Better Together Add-ON (http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?main_page=product_contrib_info&products_id=309)
TERMS:
– Add-On must be ready by 20 August 2010.
– Possibility for programmer to make the add-on available on Zen Cart Free Add-On Market (to be discussed).
– Only Programmers with Zen Cart experience will be considered.
– PHP and MySQL experience required.
– Excellent communication.
