Linux Server Apache Tune Up For Performance

Hello,

I need a professional to tune up my server for the best performance. Here is the circumstance

My server is CentOS 5 64 bit

The port is 1Gbps

Xeon and 8G of RAM

I have 3 similar servers like above and would like you to tune up 3 of them. But first you can tune up the first server and test the performance, then we can move to the rest

The server is working normally until it gets too many connections on port 80 (Apache), I can say when there are around 6000 connections at once, httpd service will fail. All other services are running ok, only httpd service fails. As a result, all sites on my server stop working

I need someone to tune it up and make sure the httpd will never fail again, no matter how many connections it has. You can also tell me what is an estimate of the maximum number of connections it should have.

About bandwidth, it is redundant. By the time httpd fails, bandwidth is around 200Mpbs only while the server is on 1Gbps dedicated.

After you successfully fix the first server, you can apply the change to the second and third server, the exact change.

Any question feel free to ask
