I need someone to build a wordpress plugin and a joomla extension that both do the same thing.
I have a product called “Personal URL Generator.” It is basically a PHP script that people install in a web directory of their website and it will dynamically pull a persons name from the URL and personalize the page. It’s purpose is for personalized marketing.
So, for example, I could install this and use it to make people believe that I built a special web page just for them with a personalized URL. The URL might look something like this:
http://www.yourdomainname.com/john.doe
Then when they visit the site it would be personalized with tokens that dynamically pull in the visitors name. You can see an example of how it works at:
http://www.personalurlgenerator.com/firstname.lastname
For fun, change the firstname and lastname to your name and see how it dynamically creates the page.
I have alot of customers ask if my current product will work in joomla or wordpress. it will not. In fact, I don’t even have the source code for the current product. I can give you the current product to install and see if you can figure it out and make a safe and stable plugin for wordpress that will do the same thing and is easy to install and then make an extension for joomla that will also be stable and easy to install.
My current version does not work from a database. It just pulls the first name and last name dynamically from the URL. I like this but from time to time I have customers who want to add additional information like City or birth date. In other words, they want to upload a list of names they are going to market to and have the landing page pull in more details about the person from a database.
I might want to add this later as a second project but for now, I just want it to work exactly how the current one works. Same functions but does not have to use the same method. I will leave it up to you for the best way to achieve the results. I have attached a copy of the original personal url generator so you can see how it works.
