Your task will be to design a social website using either, Drupal, Joomla, or WordPress. The social website can be of any design that you like. Perhaps we can start with a clean look at first and then move on. It does not need to have many themes either. Some features that would be nice are:
Forums
Friend adding
Invites
A friend system
Perhaps a php chat or ajax chat (optional)
Profile Pics
Photo galleries for sharing
Maybe a Shout Board
Personal contact, perhaps via email
Any other features that you think are compatible
You may choose to copy FB if you like, but originality will win you favor.
You may use flash, java or any skill that you have. This website will be sold as a finished product, so what will be ideal is a site that the end buyer can self customize the blocks or content. Design the content, structure and insert sample operational content so that the buyer can see how the site would look when it is fully functional. You should design your site so that it is appealing as if you intend for it to sell many times.
This type of project may continue for a very long time. A successful completion and an efficient and quality communication process will bring further business to you and an alternate invitation for business.
I think 30 days would be a decent amount of time to do well. If you need more time, then I am flexible, but I feel this will not exceed 45 days. Otherwise, please do not bid.
Alternate information is as follows, I am also looking for a programmer to design many more websites in a variety of niches. I am simply starting with a social site. If you have a particular type of site that you feel that you are the SME in design, then please feel free to submit the idea. If we like it as a product, we are also happy to commission you for that project as well.
Payment can be via PayPal or Escrow. Payment will also come upon the successful transfer of ownership of the website files and database. Once the files are transferred to us, I will install it on production servers for testing t ensure that all file have been successfully received. If all is well, payment will be issued immediately.
Please do not bother with your cut & paste replies or bids. I prefer to see a personal communication that shows interest in the project. Please do not bother with your cryptic emails either. If you have “doubts” then express them but be specific. Cryptic emails will also get you filtered. Do not go outside of the ScriptLance system. A cut & paste job will get you dismissed from all future bids since I will be looking to filter for quality. There is a such a thing as accepting multiple bidders for this project.
