Mini Site Installation

I bought another website that I need to get online
I have everything ready including the code for my paypal button. The domain name, the hosting is set up, I just need someone to do the rest so my site can be live. Instructions that I received are; 1. Download your package to your computer’s “Desktop”! (I have the zip file on my computer, I guess that i could email it to you if you accept the assignment)

Click “Save”, then choose “Desktop” as the location and then click “Save” again!. The file “vxwvxwminisitepackage.zip” will appear on your desktop.

Note: it might be a good idea to make a backup copy of the “vxwvxwminisitepackage.zip” file and save it somewhere else on your hard drive.
After UnZipping the “vxwvxwminisitepackage.zip” file, a folder named “vxwvxwminisitepackage” will appear on your desktop.
Now open the vxwvxwminisitepackage file and make a copy of the website folder and turn it into a zip file: Right click – Send to – Compressed (zipped) folder. Next, name the zip file vxwvxwminisitepackage.
Next, drag the “vxwvxwminisitepackage.zip ” file that you just made into your “vxwvxwminisitepackage/ website” folder. This is very important! The vxwvxwminisitepackage.zip file should now be inside your “vxwvxwminisitepackage/ website” folder
(Make sure you do this step or others will not receive their mini-site website when they buy from me)!
Step 2 is to get a domain name and hosting. I’ve done that already.
Step 3 is 3. Insert the “merchant” email and/or Acct. numbers into your mini-site website
I’ll give you that info. I have made the paypal payment button code already too.I think that it’s correct..

youremail.com would be the email address to my PayPal account! yoursite.com would be the URL name to the site just registered in STEP #2 (above).

— This is how the PayPal and copyright HTML code looks – there are (2) of these codes on the page for PayPal and (1) for copyright (so you must make 3 changes altogether)-

For simplicity sake use the “find” function located in the “edit” drop down menu at the top of your editor to find all 3 instances.
Important: (make sure to place your cursor at the top of the page before each new find block)
In “find field” type: “form start” and when you have found that instance in the HTML replace it to with your new paypal payment html code you created in your free paypal account (there is 2 instance to be changed).
In another “find field” type: yoursite.com and when you have found that instance in the HTML change it to the name of the website you have registered in step #2 (there is 1 instance to be changed).

— This is how the Email Contact & Date HTML code looks – there are 1 of these email codes on each page and 1 Date html code on the sales page (so you must make 4 changes altogether) —

In another “find field” type: yourowncontactemail and when you have found that instance in the HTML change it to an email address where you can be reached in case there is a problem with someone receiving their purchase (there are 3 instances to be changed)

After you have successfully changed all 7 instances (2 for the PayPal HTML codes, 3 for the email Contact HTML codes, 1 for copy right Html and 1 Date Html on index sales page) then click “File” then “Save” and exit index.html.

4. For this next step you will need “FTP” software to upload the site onto the web via your server
