I am a filmmaker and I depend on my personal site, www.gringoyo.com . The site serves two purposes: As a calling card for my work (called “The Revolutionary Tourist Project.”) And also as a fundraising tool: many of my films are shown for free via youtube and are financed by viewer contributions via the site.
The site was built using Joomla as a CMS.
I need to make the following improvements on the site:
1. The site is available in two languages, English and Spanish. I would like the language the site appears in to be dependent on the default language of the user’s computer.
2. On the home page, my most recent video is always embedded as a link to YouTube. I would like there to be an archive underneath this link where thumbnails of older videos can be clicked on and viewed.
3. There are a few graphic issues: I would like a more visible link on the homepage to the “Support Us” page (where donations can be made.) Also, There are a few more visual changes to be made.
4.There is a “testimonials” section of the site that needs to be made more accesible.
5. A new page on my site featuring press links needs to be made.
6. The above changes must be done in both the English and Spanish versions.
