Real rain drops on black background. Different rain intensity and drops sizes. Wide shot and middle shot.

Can be easily compose with your shot, using “screen”, or “soft light”, or “luminosity” mode in your NLE or compose soft. Also try to combine wide and middle shots together on different layers, play with opacity, to create depth of your rain.

It looks much better than boring cg rain.
