Clone For Craigslist
Hello,

I have been researching the last couple days for a new venture I wanted to get help rolling out. I am looking to clone craigslist but also include a few more features. I am hoping to establish a strong business relationship and use the developer ongoing for updating the site and making changes when needed. I will need it also installed on my host server. Since I am a newbie I am looking for admin to be user friendly.

Html To Joomla Template Needed
I am re-designing a school’s website whose files got lost during a server account change. My customer wants to take the opportunity to change it because it looked too confusing and boring. Originally was designed using Joomla and the designer must have had just basic knowledge of Joomla because site was too boring and confusing.

I was thinking in creating a combination of HTML and Joomla site if that is an option with the belief that the HTML part will give it the more natural appealing of a common site while still having the Joomla benefits in its content pages. That way those pages that do not need constant update be HTML design and those that need daily updates and password access be Joomla with all the benefits it brings. But design between both need to look the same to barely notice the difference. I know html and I use Dreamweaver for editing, but have just basic knowledge of Joomla or php.

Need someone to help me put the website together by designing the Joomla template based in my html design, and putting it together with the html part. Some html design might be needed to ensure both look the same. After the project is completed, I would need advise on how to edit it in the future when needed.

Full real content not need to be included, just enough to show parts and areas. I will fill out the content information myself in both html and joomla areas provided you supply me all the corresponding files used or needed to do so. I will supply the needed images for Joomla or HTML areas that are needed for the design. I should be able to easily edit both html and joomla parts later on.

Site is divided into separate large group areas such as VISITORS, PARENTS, STUDENTS, FACULTY & STAFF. Some of these areas will have restricted access (password access).

Joomla areas will have slideshow header same as in html homepage, and iclude News Letters (PDF’s) with gallery , Current Events (Divided into event areas), School Calendar, Cafeteria Menu, Picture Galleries, Video Galleries, email access, download application or information update form for printout and a few other things. Also include dropdown menu if needed. It must include the SEARCH SITE option in the site for both the html and the Joomla part.

I started already the main template idea which I have attached an image view of the home page by which I would like the Joomla area look like.

Budget is low because school has a small budget too, so please keep your bidding as low as possible but with same good quality work.

To prevent from getting copy-paste bids from people who don’t even take the time to look at the project needs, please include the word “School Joomla Site” in your offer.

I am looking for someone who has built a cashback portal and has the knowledge of implementing the trackback from affiliate programmes.

The idea of the cashback shopping portal, will be like quidco.
Furthermore I will hope to whitelabel the site, so there will have to be a way round passing on the site to a third party but we still get some revenue out of it so the site will have to have the option of splitting the money 3 ways

Tabs Ajax. Joomla Site
This project involves editing a Joomla Component called Joomlistings, the idea is to have an Ajax type effect (make the changes to the listing on the same page without having to load the page again) on the listings (see picture attached). The listings need to have 4 buttons that would load the following:
1- Preview – calls in the description table of the listing (component already has a table for description).
2. Map – Calls a map (google or bing map), takes the address from the actual listing and maps it. (Component does not have this option).
3- Map with satellite view (birds eye). Same as the above point only this one needs to have the satellite map instead of the regular map.
4- Contact form- This button calls for the contact form. The component already has a contact form for every listing.

Build an Australian Comparison Website filled with affiliate offers mostly from the 3 biggest Australian networks DGM, CG and CM. I want someone who is able to reverse engineer websites if I show you something I want. I want the site to be generated and updated with the least work possible so I can focus on marketing the website.

The site can be started listing the merchants in each category. For some categories I would like to list all the offers/products and have more advanced search and comparison.

1) Need CMS suggestion – maybe database driven? So I can have database of offers from feeds? (at least for shopping) Thinking WordPress with Pages listing affiliate offers? Or Joomla with wordpress for articles. Open to suggestions.

Most categories we will start listing the merchants, then offers and have articles. May be best to use “tags” as some items fit in multiple categories. Feature the best offers and discounts in each category on the home page. Most merchants/offers will be listed as a table with a column to click “Go” to the merchants website.

Basic category structure below. I also have a detailed list with all subcategories and every merchant and which affiliate network (basically all DGM, CG or CM, I have spreadsheets listing the offers from those networks too). There are generally several merchants in each category, shopping has much more but still I have only selected the best (around 100 stores in shopping)

First step just list merchants in categories, need ability for customers to add reviews for stores. I at least need to be able to get SEO urls for particular products to include in our blog posts or bargain newsletters.
Second step list all the individual product offers from their feeds – so I can have exact links, say I can email my subscribers exact link to Apple iPhone at the Apple Store. Add shopping datafeeds for stores from DGM, CG, CM, usually come in CSV/Tab/XML.
This engine is not the best, but this is an Australian engine that looks like it was made very quickly and cheaply from affiliate feeds. Maybe look how have they done this?

SEO – I would also look to perhaps make some categories on their own domain, advice on SEO, keywords to target and domains to buy and best way to set this up the right way from the beginning is preferred.

Job 2 – UK/USA versions. I also want to at least get a basic .com and .co.uk version (should be easy to almost totally generate from feeds) so can start collecting emails from those users too. Im already part of CJ and Linkshare, will join other networks, can I have suggestions what would be the easiest way to generate the UK/USA versions full of the best offers? At the very least have the UK and USA version say coming soon and allow the customer so signup to our email database in the right country category, and have a few top featured offers on the UK/USA homepages for now. Whip up something extremely quickly and automated. Should be WAY easier to generate almost automatically as far superior tools available for UK/USA markets. E.g. DatafeedR, Easycontentunits

Job 3 – I have an online store I want to simply populate with affiliate links as an online showcase, so it looks like an online store, perhaps my shopping links can power this store? I have picked the best merchant in each of several categories that I would like to populate this store. Currently with zen-cart but any CMS suggestion welcome, may have to redirect some links to keep PR. Let me know what you can do.

Joomla Submit Phoca Photos
I am using PhocaGallery and need a module where logged-in users can submit photos for the admin’s approval.

The user will select a category (from PhocaGallery’s categories)and upload up to 10 images (size restricted or resized) and then send to admin.

Admin will be emailed with link to view a page of uploaded thumbnails. Admin will check the box by thumbnail of those not accepted and then enter to bulk accept the rest which will automatically go in the chosen categories.

User will be emailed of approval or not.
