Car Rental Website
Hi all,

I am looking for someone that can provide a car rental website for me. As I don’t have enough time to do one myself for a friend I am enlisting the help of someone on ScriptLance.

The website will be a static content website with a list of the cars and their prices in an easy to navigate system preferably keeping the actual website display to a minimum and using hidden divs with links.

Attached is an idea that I had for the site, but it is missing something. Either you can fix up the design or start your own one.

I have a website through GoDaddy that has 150GB. This website is for a Live Action Role Playing group (L.A.R.P.) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The website needs to be able to have pictures posted on it and updated monthly. Needs a link to Paypal and online medieval costuming web sites. A PDF of the world map and a secure login that requires a login name and password to access a forum much like Yuku, V-Bulletin, etc…Forum needs to have a calendar that can be updated daily, upcoming event section, scrolling event display, private forums, etc…And if all possible, a character generator program. For this project:

I need someone to design a wedding “lace” themed website with muted colors, eggplant/purple, a little bit of gold and a little bit of pewter. Possibly a few white flowers within the design.

The design is more important than the page structure, as the structure/navigation can be created later on when it is coded.

It will need the following items on the homepage:

1) Area for the latest comments (just a name:comment with the last 5 or so comments) and a button to view more comments.

2) Homepage text area for “introduction” and “Our story”.

3) small gallery of thumbnails on the sidebar (scrollable, or just a few different thumbnails, open to suggestions

4) The homepage should include a spot towards the top which lists two names (of the wedding couple).

5) sample navigation links for additional pages like About us, Our wedding.

6) Registry section, this will list a few items of products and will have a link to view the complete registry section.

Looking forward to responses and will be looking at a combination of best price/timeline. Assuming this project works out, other projects can follow this one.

Not sure what term you would like to use. Our project could be redesigning, revamping, rebranding, etc.

I guess you could say we are looking for a new logo, BUT using some of the elements (the emblem and colors) of our current logo.

We feel the logo we have needs to be updated. You can what ever you would like except the overall color scheme (you can change the font, move the name, emblem, tagline, etc), but ultimately we are looking to have the emblem updated. We feel it is too linear, and needs some dimension/texture to it. Give it some movement (sketch it, twist it, bend it, stretch it, lines through it, etc). In the end, the emblem should be somewhat recognizable (identifiable) from the old emblem to the new emblem (see the example links above)

We don’t want something too flashy. It needs to be simple, professional, modern looking and in good taste, and have a ‘technology’ feel to it.

Other words that could be communicated through the logo: Stability, knowledgable, technical, Trustworthy, supportive, cost effective.
