We are looking for a World Class CREATIVE Web Designer for Redesign of Women’s Website

We are looking for a website redesign/makeover for a leading women’s interest website. Please submit links to your portfolio of creative original web designs (original work, not template implementations).

We will use a competitive hiring process in three phases:

Phase 1. $100 for Home Page Mockups – If we see creative/artistic “spark” in your portfolio, we will provide more details and hire multiple designers to develop new mockups of our home page

Phase 2. $500 for Three Page Renderings – The best home page designers will be hired to collaborate with us to create enhanced layouts of the home page, a section page, and an article page

Phase 3. Final Design – We will choose one designer and offer a contract with a maximum agreed-upon budget to develop the final graphics, HTML and CSS for the site

We are seeking Madison Avenue quality web designers and artists who think outside of the box, and who can help us take a leap forward to an entirely new innovative and esthetically “stunning” web design.

If you are selected to create a homepage mockup, we will provide information on (1) our existing site, (2) target audience, (3) design specifications, (4) competitive site analysis, and (5) creative guidance. You will also be able to participate in a teleconference with the leadership team to ask questions before submitting your design.

Please provide the following:
1. Links to your portfolio of original web designs
2. Your rates for web design (for phase 3)
3. Additional “types” of questions you would need answered before creating a homepage mockup

We seek to break new ground with this design, to leap ahead, not merely copy other people’s designs. If your portfolio is full of template implementations, this will NOT do. We must see original work. Also, if you do not have a high rating on this site, you must explain why.

I need a clone similiar to pichunter.com or cliphunter.com/galleries.shtml they are similar websites so something along those lines. I don’t need you to create the thumbnails or anything (I can do that) but just create the setup and make it so I can easily add/remove categories (which will be linkable on the side like those websites) and also add/remove thumbnails so I can update it constantly and it will put the new ones on the top and move the rest down (or to next page). As you can see from those sites the thumbnails just link to other website’s galleries so there isn’t too much work involved. Must have a sleek web design and be easy to update. I want this site to look nicer than both those other sites. I don’t want to get any copywright issues so don’t make it exactly the same as those to but you get the idea.

Volusion And Java Work

I need some volusion work done. Really just integrating apps and making a java function to put into volusion. Only respond if you work weekends. I’m going to pick someone fast to do this work.

It’s not going to be hard work so I’m paying $75 more then I normally would because I need it done in less then 7 days. It should be done in the order listed (Step 1, 2, 3).

Right now I need the following:

1) I have integrated a flex app from a third party company called EZ Builder. This allows my client to create custom photo products.
It has a java “Add to Cart” button. The button right now just validates that the custom product has been completed correctly. We need to build a java function to
place that order into my clients Volusion based shopping cart.

That’s the first task. I’ll pay $50 for that.

I have two thoughts on this:
a) In our inventory list I can create one generic product called – custom photo product – this is the product we load in the cart and then pass the description items from the ez builder.
b) I can load every single product into my inventory (about 450) and make sure the product code in my inventory matches the SKU code from the custom builder. With this we can pull in the right product from our inventory. We would only need to pass some custom information at that point.

This is from the integration docs:
Just register a JavaScript function using the built in addToCartCallback parameter as described under createTemplateApp. When a user clicks the built in Add to Cart button we will call the provided JavaScript function. This function that you write should add the product to your shopping cart.

2) Either in parallel or after – we have to pass these orders to the EZ Print server for fulfillment. Volusion has an export module via the API where we can pass the xml information.

addToCartCallback: Function
The Builder will call this JavaScript function that you define when the internal application “Add to Cart” button is pressed. The parameters passed to this function when it is called are the project id as a string, the SKU of the product that was personalized and the thumb preview URL as a string if a thumbnail was requested. The advantage of using this button is that it validates that the product has been correctly created before proceeding with saving the project.

I’ll pay $50 for that

3) Once we have the first two pieces working, I want to add in the EZ Print code that lets clients upload their own photos or connect to their private photo albums on our servers.

We are starting a new clothing line and we need a quiet few design. First we like to have a main company/website logo. Two types; one is with 3 letters (RBD) and one with the two main characters.
One is Red bull and the second one is red bulldog. The website is www.redbulldogs.me (it is not up yet).
I think the two characters are facing to each other and you can set the tone what kind of mood they are.
I think the bull is in the right and the bulldog in the left. Maybe they are intimidating each other!!!??
Later on we will need design for labels, marketing materials, and designs for the clothing (T-shirts, hoodies, Truck suits, underwear, socks, jeans, jackets and so on.
The main characters must be very unique, one of a kind, no clipart and any other BS.
Dominating colors should be: red, black and you can pick what you think is proper.
We give you total freedom to create these characters. Now here is a chance for you to let your imagination fly free like a bird or run like a wild bullļ.
I try to emphasize; we not trying to copy any other design but you can get some idea from Ed Hardy.
We have some similar concept but as I mentioned everything is depend on your talent. Don¡¦t forget, this is clothing line and constantly will updated with different clothing (T-shits, truck suits, jackets) and you will be busy for a next while if you put 110% effort in to it. We are not cheap (however the budget is always short), we will pay a fair compensation for you but you must (please) show your talent.
We will work with you every step in the future to help accomplish the project. The time frame for the main characters are maximum 5 days and later we can change or adjust if need it. The website is coming very soon and at least we like to put the main characters on the site.
I think $50 is fair for the first character (RBD) and another $50 for the second (red bull and bulldog).
We will pay via paypal. The payment is not an issue for us as you see on our feedbacks.
Please let us know what do you think and provide some earlier references. We prefer some raw mockups first to make sure we are on the same page.

Design five (5) mini websites in Dreamweaver (plain html) all of 3 pages each. All sites to have a variable width header and a well structured css style sheets. I will provide the navigation chart.

I am looking for clean, uncluttered design with a simple navigation bar. You will have to create a few graphics and make the site look classy and visually attractive. Please show me sample of previous work.

Am ready to see readymade sites and if I like one of your previously made sites, I will ask you to change the links and colors and upload the final files of our server.

I need a highly skilled website programmer/designer to review our new website and make repairs, improvements and minor changes to increase user friendliness, ease of navigation and effectiveness. The company that designed the new website didn’t seem to do a very thorough job.

Once changes and improvements are made to the new website, the new website will be moved to our current domain: www.candleswest.com

The new website must be independent of the old website.

It is your responsibility to make recommendations and changes to the website (backend and frontend). You won’t be changing the main design or look of the website, just make changes to certain pages, links and navigation.

Some improvements and changes that need to be made.

1. Integrate identical “Catalog request” page from old site into new site. Do not link to old site. However, this page on the new website must operate like the page on the old website.

2. Create a static intro page. The new website has an animated flash intro. I would like a static page (identical to the last page of the flash intro) installed on the new website so that when the user clicks on the “home”link or the “previous” or “back” button in their browser, they will be directed to this static page instead of the entire flash intro. I don’t think visitors want to see the entire flash intro every time they go to the home page to select a new category.

3. Repair links in new website.

4. Make new website easy to navigate

5. New website should be SEO friendly and search engine friendly

6. Pages should load fast and operate fast.

7. Poorly designed pages should be improved or modified.

8. Make all text easy to read (example: text on main page is too dark and small)

9. After reviewing sites, you will send me a list of proposed changes and improvements.
