I need a site built similar to and with all (and more) functionality of spreadshirt.com or Threadless.com which are very similar in the things that they can do.
To start with, only bid if you have a t-shirt designer already created. Flash, Ajax or any other is fine but I dont have the time or money to waist on doing this from scratch. Provide a link to a WORKING demo of your designer script in a PMB with your bid. I am looking for one that is stylish but has similar features as the one spreadshirt.com. It also has to be able to set-up with multi location/placements and have a good pdf out put that is print quality.
The site needs to be primarily a t-shirt store but also needs to have features such as:
User upload of there own designs/ideas/slogans to the site
Designs can be ordered and sold though the site
There are also a lot of other features:
Users all have accounts, which can be debited or credited
Users can upload pictures of themselves wearing t shirts
Users can refer friends, for each referral
Artists/designers receive a commission for each t shirt sold, they can keep track of how many shirts they have sold, each month they are automatically emailed a breakdown of their sales.
Designers given the option to promote their design through Facebook, Digg, Twitter etc.
Each user has homepage, can post blogs
Back-end features to include:
Solid E-Commerce Shop with specific functionality and PCI Compliance. Integration into an Open source E-commerce script is fine (and preferred) as long as it works correctly.
Order/Invoice Printing: Orders should print directly to picking/packing slip for processing (template will be provided). When a new order comes in user should be able to print picking/packing/invoice page directly for order processing.
Newsletter with ability to send newsletters the same as
Ability to maintain a mailing list, options for customers to opt out on every email sent.
Ability to have sales, reducing the price of certain items or all items and for specified time periods
Affiliate program for other companies to sign up for, they earn a % for each referral sale.
Ability to have discount codes either site wide or customer specific
Ability to send discount codes to certain customers, ie ones who have not made a purchase in 1 month etc.
Allow customers to purchase physical (physical card mailed to recipient) and virtual (code provided via email to recipient) gift certificates/cards.
Customers to be able to track their orders automatically, emails sent to customers with tracking info automatically throughout the ordering process
* Stock Management System where, customers can see how many t shirts are left, vote for reprints of design etc.
I’m only interested in receiving bids from web developers who can feasibly design and build a site of quality and superb functionality. If you cannot replicate this do not bid.
As well as the functionality, the design and appearance of this site is also very important.

I want to encorperate many of the design elements and AJAX, jQuery, Lightbox and other Javascript features found on them. Again, you need to be able to build a site of this quality and be able to show me evidence of previous sites you have made of this quality.
Finally site needs to be built with SEO in mind, please elaborate on any experience you have in this area.

This is a serious project that needs a highly skilled designer/programmer and needs to be completed quickly.
I dont want to hear the standard I understand requirements statements in bids. To get down to it visit the spreadshirt.com website and USE it. I want it to function just like it in every respect. If you dont visit this site then you dont understand what I am looking for. If you want the project take the time to look at the site.
