We are looking for a PHP-expert to fix some things in our customer’s osCommerce site:

1. If you ut something in the basket, you should still be there and don’t end up at the top of the page. A small message about the “product is put in the basket”-
2. It should not open a new indow when you enlarge an image, but instead it should use “fancybox”.
3. In the admin, we would like to have a box for you to easily change the delivery times. So you don’t need to go into the product to change.
4. We would like the opportunity for customers to switch languages in the checkout area too. The country flags should be visible there as well.
5. h That page will automatically change the language and currency by IP address. I.e. it is aware of where in the world you are.
6. That the customer can select the number of items that they want to be shown on this page. Even that they either are 3 of the series in a so-called grid or that they line up one by one.
7. That we who use admin, when adding pictures of a products, we should be able to browse our “own computer” and not as it is now reaching a “PLASTIC” where you must first upload the image.
8.Able to categorize brands. Thus, some brands have many underlines. Kind of like a category tree.
9. That one can use several search criteria at the same time. For example choosing a brand and then you can sort by price range. Today, you can only choose either or.
10. That the products under the “news” show up just like “campaign” goods.

We have two sites running on PHP based on old PostNuke. One site is for customers and one for management the content and activities.
We have written a while ago module that link two site in connection with the online educational assessments.
The structure is that articles on customer’s website are pulled from an external site and displayed. The job of management site is to link online assessment to correct article.
At the moment there is an error in script and this is not happening
We have a list of articles displayed correctly but no assessments attached to it.
There may need to be few scripts updated. It may also be very simple .
Some code is written with smarties I believe.

it wil take you a little while to understand and know your way around IDS app (REG app is quite samll and simple).

any extra fixes/enhancements added will be paid extra bonus

getting these fixes etc finished is necessary before several other related but separate new php/mysql/web form design projects that interact with this app

PURPOSE: To track the real time movement of a laptop using a GPS receiver upadting the GPS data in 1 minute intervals. Laptop will be in a vehicle using Microsft Streets and trips for navigation. Only 1 GPS receiver will be connected to the laptop.

PART 1

DESCRIPTION: Project requires the detection of a GPS device (USB or bluetooth possibly being concurrently used by MS Streets and Trips) on a laptop using Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 operating systems and then saving the data (lat long time) once every minute to a file that can be uploaded to a MySQl database. The file will be later used in google maps

1 – Launch from desktop
2 – All NMEA0183 protocol versions supported
3 – programmed in C# and .NET framework
4 – real time GPS data
5 – Automatic recovery of lost connections
6 – Display of data sets viewable on desktop in real time
7 – start/stop/reset buttons to start stop and clear data collection
8 – Completed project will consiste of BOTH the source code and Compiled EXE file

PART 2

DESCRIPION: Upload data to MySQL database when internet connection is avaliable.

1 – automatic detection of internet connection
2 – automatic upload of data to MySQL database
3 – Display data sets on website via google maps using two possible selections. Prefer javascript for google maps and XML for data set updating from MySQL database data
A – displays all points with start time and connects data sets using line
B – Displays animated movement of marker,. updates data sets once per minute, by deleting displayed marker and replacing it with a marker using the most updated dataset uploaded from the program.

This is a quick 1 day project for a programmer that is familiar with GPS C# .NET
