Custom Article Php Script
I am looking for a custom php script build, installed and bug free that I can use as an article script.

The script does not need password access for the master admin panel. It just needs to be in it’s own subfolder so I can password protect that folder in cpanel.

The article script will have categories and different writers.

The admin panel allows the main admin to add, edit and remove writers. They can also add, edit and remove, categories. As well as add, edit, and remove articles.

The admin panel will have the following 10 buttons which take us to their respective pages.

Add an Article
Edit an Article
Delete an Article

Add a Category
Edit a Category
Delete a Category

Add a Writer
Edit a Writer
Delete a Writer

View Articles (simply a link to the article page opens in a new window)

In this admin panel when we click “add a writer” or “Edit a writer” it will bring up a page with the following fields, Writer’s Name (text field), Email (text field), About the Writer (text box), Writer photo (browse box for image). Once the writer has been created by the master admin panel, they are now in the list of writers.

In this admin panel when we click add or edit a category it would bring up a page with these fields: Category Name (text field) and Category Description (text box), and Image field (browse box)

In this admin panel when we click add or edit an article. It would show the following fields: Title (text field), Choose a Category (dropdown), Choose a Writer (dropdown), Short Description (text box), Article (this should be a wysiwyg box that allows us to create an article with all the controls and being able to add images to it.) Also there will be 12 additional images fields at the bottom (as browse boxes)..

The delete category, delete writer pages, and delete articles pages in the admin would bring up a page with a drop down so that when we select one from the dropdown and click delete, it would delete it. If we are trying to delete a writer or category which still contains articles, would block it and say please delete all articles under this writer’s name or this category before deleting this category or writer (depending on if it was on the delete writer or delete a category page)

The article page: The main article page would come up to a page that would show a view by category, or view by writer. Showing their thumbnail image and name of the category or writer under it. If they click the thumbnail or name of a writer or a category it would take them to that page to view all the articles under that particular writer or category.

When looking at the articles under a category or writer, the articles would display the title, the first image of the 12 browse fields for that article, the short description for the article, and who the writer is. Then a click here to read the article link. It would show up to 30 articles per page before going to page 2 and so on.. If they click either the thumbnail, the title of the article, or that click here link, it would take them to the page where they see that article. On that page it would display the writer’s thumbnail with his name, email address, and the writer’s information at the top. Below that it would show the title for the article, the wysiwyg formatted article, and below that the optional 12 thumbnails. Which when they click them they would open up in a pop up window with a larger version of the photo and a next and previous link to view all of them quicker.

EXTRA NOTES: On every page except the admin at the bottom in links it would link to all the categories and all the writers in an orderly fashion.

When we delete articles, categories, or writers off this admin it should delete the photos associated with these things off the server to keep from a buildup of unwanted images.

All images (EVERYTHING including the writer’s image, the categories, the article images in wysiwyg, and the 12 additional images) added must compress automatically in file size and in physically size to a reasonable size for the web. If no image is added to a category, article, or writer it would show an image that says “no image available”. In the place of the image on the article pages.

SEO TITLE TAG: Please make sure that the page that shows the article itself show the article’s title as the title tag for the page for seo reasons.

I will give you specific layouts for each of the pages. No major design work is needed but be aware that I will have you change some font sizes and styles.. A little formatting will be needed on your part, but I will take care of the major design or template for the page. Please put a top.php and bottom.php on the article page so I can easily apply my own design to the script.

Please do not bid on this unless you are an experienced programmer. We don’t want beginners here. Also it is a MUST that you communicate with us using msn messenger for this project. Please keep in touch and be honest about your completion dates. this is a time sensitive project.

The folder for the script will be called articles/ the admin will simply be a subfolder articles/admin

Two Divs Fixed Positioning
I have two div elements that need to be placed on two separate pages. They need to be fixed positioning wise. So, they will be accurately placed amongst other elements using CSS and XHTML code.

They are two separate pages. Each one has a div element that is not positioned correctly and contains an image. I will not be able to give access to server; so expert use of Firebug required.

Convert Psd To Xhtml/css

Need Some Script Fixes
I need some script fixes done to my new site:

In the admin area:
edit “how it works” page doesnt work

All of these pages only partially come up, so its probably a minor thing.

In the members area:
Send a message feature doesnt work.
Always says “message wasnt sent” so again probably a minor thing for someone knowledgeable

Php Script Mod
I am looking for a mod to my existing listings or “article” script. It currently has a field that is a normal text box (like a comment box).

This is where the articles are placed when adding or editing an article. The issue with this box is that I can’t put links in it. I am looking for a way to modify this script so that it allows links to be visible when you type them out.

Fixing Xml Importer In Php
I need someone with knowledge of PHP, XML, endcoding and MySQL to make my XML importer work with danish characters.

A script on my site imports a XML feed from another server. The importer can import values with danish characters (ÆØÅæøå) if they are put Within “[CDATA[” tags. If the danish characters are not within this tag the importer will cut of anything in the value before the danish character. For example if the importer reads something like this <test>This is a test æ of the feed</test> it only imports “æ of the feed”.

The encoding/characterset of the feed is not set in the feed.

I can not change the structure of the feed or add anything to it – so the importer has to work without the “[CDATA[” tags and without the encoding tags.

The script is a PHP script. I run PHP version 5.2.12
The script imports the data to a SQL database version 5.0.9
The characterset of the MySQL is set to UTF8.

The script has to import all the data even if thet are not set within CDATA tags.

Distances Between Postcodes
We have a website that allows homeowners to post a job that they need done and tradesmen to bid for these jobs. We need a PHP script that depending on the distance selected by the tradesmen when registering will work out the jobs in the tradesman’s area and display them on a web page when the tradesman logs in. The maximum distance that a tradesman is prepared to travel to from their home address is select during registration and is stored in a table in a SQL database when registration is complete. Therefore, the script should look into the projects table in the database and determine from the distance in the user table for the tradesman concerned which jobs are in his area and then these jobs are displayed in a table. Also, when a new job is added an e-mail should automatically be sent to tradesmen within that area. The script should also work out the distances from the tradesman’s home address to all jobs in the system that have not been completed.

Drupal Oscommerce Modules
We have a website running an ecommerce portal.
The front-end is through DRUPAL and there is OsCommerce for website.
Both of the solutions are integrated.

We’re needing a database to help keep track of properties for sale. Each property has about 70 fields spread out over about 6 tables – Original, Properties, Advertising, Signs, Status, and Closing.

There needs to be a secure place for authorized users to login with a username/password and manage/update the details of each property. They also need to be able to add add’l properties.

The properties need to be sortable by month and there needs to be a function that exports the entire database into an Excel Spreadsheet.

It is also important for there to be a backup/restore function, which automatically backs up the property record every time that particular property is updated.

We need a 3d flash carousel where we can have:

– A large ammount of items;
– Load an external javascript function whenever we click an item;
– Items composed of a large image, a title and an id or link that will be sent along the javascript function;
– Easy navigation between each item, slowing down as the mouse comes closer to the center, ultimately to a stop;
– Items loaded dynamically without creating new files, much like in http://www.3dcarousel.com/DeveloperEditions/3DCarouselV1/tabid/58/Default.aspx where a Response.php file prints the xml info that the swf will use in real time (we accept suggestions for another alternative as long as we can load the items dynamically).
– A water reflection effect;
– Images circling slowly even when the mouse leaves the active area;
– Configurable parameters:
– Image size;
– Rotation speed when the mouse is active;
– Rotation speed when the mouse is outside the active range;
– Turning auto circling when the mouse is outside the active area on and off;
– Set coordinates for the box holding the image title, size and height, as well as background color, text color, corder color and border width;
– Size/range of the water reflection.

It must be:

– Lightweight;
– A circle carousel, much like the other referrenced further down;
– Adaptive to size (this could be archieved by adding configurable x and y axis parameters for the circling animation);
