Hello,

I’m using this project to find a great programmer!
I have an unlimited amount of work available – I just need to find someone who is a perfectionist, takes pride in their work and builds me amazing (and secure) things!

In general – I need an all round programmer.
But for this project, flash will probably yield the best results. Though there is potential for javascript etc.

I don’t mind which – just build me something cool!

For the trial project I want you to build me a standard single player BLACKJACK gambling game – that can plugin to an existing website.

> Design
> Functionality
> Security
> Integration to existing website (has its own balance, user history etc)

This is just the tip of the iceberg of what I’m looking to do here. Ultimately I want you to create me an unlimited number of ‘money games’. Some of these will be straight up gambling games (as per this trial project). But later on I envisage much bigger things here…

I want to build games with skill elements.
Tournament type things.
Competitive two player games; the winner of the ‘heads up battle’ takes home the prize pool sorta thing.

And really long term; I want to build games that require ‘user investment’. Then through gameplay, strategy, time and interaction users unlock the returns on their investment to make a profit. (Or if they play badly, a loss).

Anyway.. if you come to work with me – you’ll quickly discover that I have too many ideas! I’ll bombard you with new thoughts on a daily basis! I need you to make them come to life. I already have one programmer who does the basic / core stuff – but I need someone who knows what they’re doing making games. And who is either talented with javascript or flash. I don’t mind which.

This blackjack thing is just something to test your talents and that doesn’t require a 10,000 word specification! The real novel ideas i’ll set you on right after this!

I need a hand with an Amazon XML feed, ever since their updates last august we have unable to connect and retrieve product data from their site. An explanation of their new security credentials (which were installed into AWS last August) and success in retrieving their listings via a cgi or php xml script is required. We currently have an AWS account and are unsure as to why we can no longer retrieve listings. If you have prior experience with this, this might be an easy project for you.

I am looking for a pay per click search engine xml feed. The script should pull results from a number of pay per click search engines (say 4 or 5 of them) and show the results based on the highest per click rate after commission. I do not currently have affiliate accounts setup with search engines so you will need to tell me what search engines your script is setup for and I will setup the accounts. The general output of the script can be very basic, just a search box and obviously after you search it shows the results. All can be on one page or divided by page numbers. Thanks!

We have implimented OpenID server on our site. Each user now has a [username] for the site and an OpenId address.

The OpenID address is ugly and looks like this:
www.domain.org/server/server.php/idpage?user=username

Instead, we want to allow users to use the following as their openid:
openid.consultantregistry.org/username/

The site displays a profile for each [username] at this address:
http://www.domain.com/profile.php?=username

We have modified the htaccess file to allow them to use:
to http://www.consultantregistry.org/username/

Our programmer can modify htaccess to allow one or the other but not both. We need someone to modify our htaccess file to allow redirecting of both

consultantregistry.org/username/
openid.consultantregistry.org/username/

It may be a possibility to move the openid code to a subdirectory but I would prefer to leave the files as they are since OpenID was such a chore to get working.

The awarded programmer will have access to a development site for testing prior to application on our live site.

Attached file is the current htaccess file. The OpenID code is at the end of the file.

Update Php Script

I have a script (the same type you see in action here http://bit.ly/5BAKNa) written in php for a Facebook game that I’m rewriting into another game/independent site. I previously awarded another programmer the work to update it and more than halfway through he became ill.

What I need now is for someone to come in and finish the updates to the script. Your job will be to finish updating the script to send Facebook notifications, updates, and things of that nature. As well as get rid of unneeded pages within the script so that the only thing on the server will be the actual functioning portions of the script with everything properly worded in the page names. Next you will update the script so that the functions performed do not generate page loads on every action (for example I click a button to complete a job and an ajax progress bar shows the progress instead of a full page refresh), basically you will use ajax/javascript (or similar languages) to modernize everything.
