I need a script to do some data scraping, something that will be used on a regular basis.

For a given search phrase e.g. “cat”, I need the urls for each item in
a) the search results pages
b) the ads.

User Input would be

1) search phrase
2) number of search pages or results to find the urls for
3) include ads display url or not.

Script should be in PHP, should not use a database.

Results should be the list of URLs found in plain text, in two textAreas.

The budget agreed for this project will be fully paid once the project is finished, ie. errors/warnings identified and notified to us, fixed and live. If all tasks are not finished after the deadline, we will not make the payment.

Important:

-the sites are hosted on a shared server (no root access).
-we are sure the bug is in the code as we have migrated the sites to a different host with a different my.conf file and they still fail showing the same errors. We will not accept changes in my.conf file.
-the developer will have ssh and ftp access to the $Home of the sites.

I need someone to write a quick php/mysql file that looks up the url (not the baseurl) in the list and returns the id and then redirects to a new link with the id.

An example:
I will call the script
www.test.com/?keyword=bbb.tv (<-bbb.tv = url)

The script will look up bbb.tv in the database and return with the id value and redirect to
bbb.tv?id=bbb123 (<- bbb123 = id)

This is a simple project but I expect the following
1. An import.sql file to create the database/table in mysql and add the data listed above. This should also create whatever indexes are needed for fast lookups.

2. A redirect.php file that handles the redirect. This will handle a lot of traffic so I want it as fast and optimized as possible.

We are building an adult web site based on Drupal. We seek a developer to modify Drupal and add the features and functionality as listed below:

Ability for users to save galleries to their own area

The home page
Clicking any letter of the alphabet listing (in the header of the attached wireframe) takes users to a list of girls whose first name starts with that letter.

Clicking a thumbnail in the Pick Your Interest section takes users to a list of picture sets, videos and/or girls tagged with that category

Tab system provides links to most recently added list of girls’: videos, picture sets and galleries

Below that, a second set of tabs organises the girls, videos, picture sets and galleries by those most popular in the past week. Popularity is determined by the total number of clicks in past week.

The girls’ pages
Picture sets are displayed in thumbnail form. Thumbnails can be added by an authorised user. This person will be able to crop the thumbnail to fit our specified size

Tabs give users quick access to pictures, videos or other links. Links are displayed in list form. Pictures and videos in thumbnail form, three to a row.

Each girl has a main profile picture which only an Admin can upload. There is also a link to her official site – which again only the Admin can add or edit.

Girls are given a rating based on her overall popularity rather than a user rating. Overall popularity is determined by adding the number of visits to the girl’s page in the past week, the number of her links clicked in the same period and the number of saved and highly rated picture sets

Users can save picture sets to their own area and can rate picture sets 1-5. This rating will be shown next to each picture set once it has been rated more than five times.

We expect other features to be added at a later date and are particularly interested in developers interested in and able to complete another tranche of work.

Pages of links
List of girls names’ eg all girls whose first name starts with A. Each will have their profile thumbnail cropped to specific size (to be determined), next to which will come their overall rating and the total number of links each girl has.

List of links eg list of links to their Twitter page, Facebook page, forum threads– These are the only ones not to have thumbnails. The only thing which appears on this page part from the link is the site name (in brackets) and the link type (forum post, fan site etc).

User profiles
List of saved links, ability to unsave links, ability to rate links out of five.

I need a little PHP webapp which concatenate uploaded videoclips to get one long video.

1. User can uplaod a videoclip via web form
2. Video will be concatenate to the end of the main video. So the main video gets longer with every clip
3. User can see the resulting main video (flash videoplayer with pseudostreaming)

No videooptimization is needed (resolution: 200:150), because its a demo for the feasibility to do such video merging. All tools must run on ubuntu 9.10 (PHP, mencoder, ffmpeg, qt-faststart flvtool2 or what ever you will use).
