hForm.JS is a new html5 javascript plugin that allows you to save your data within your forms!
About
I’ve always been annoyed when I am entering data into a form, and suddenly! Poof! All your data is gone!
Sometimes I spend hours typing away, only to have a powercut…All that time wasted.
That’s why I made hForm.js, a new innovative product that allows you to save the contents of your form using local/session storage!
The best part is, it’s only 3KB (hForm.js).
In the package
Within the package, you’ll find:
[Dir] Source
—-hform.js (3KB) – main JS plugin.
—jquery.js (71KB) – The jQuery library.
[Dir] Tuts/Demos – video tutorials/demos to get you started with hForm.js
—-Over 25 minutes of video tutorials!
—-3 Demos to set you up.
Support/Updates
I’m always here to help you, please use the DEN /discussion page for any help, and I’ll get back to you.
As far as updates are concerned, I am busy, but I am working on adding more functionality to the product.
Ideas:
Auto save – save the form when you focus out of an (form) element
Add support for radio buttons, check boxes etc.
26th October 2010:
I am working on a documentation for this item, it’s not ready yet, but it’ll be ready soon.
