Users feel when they are given a numeric only id they you just gave them their prison id number. The sql auto increment system is perfect for IDs but it lacks a certain human touch. Encode.decode ID is the perfect solution actually compressing and beautifying a numeric id without having to save anything else anywhere because it is also reversible.

Example

Encode.decode id takes a numeric id generated by the sql auto increment like 25688 compresses and beautifies it to 6Gk. That saves you two characters, beautifies the id, and doesn’t make you feel like the warden! Secondly, this can be reversed taking 6Gk and decompressing it to 25688.
