Note: This is an add-on for Restrict Content Pro. Version 1.1.2 or later is required to use this add-on.

This add-on plugin for Restrict Content Pro allows you to accept credit cards through your Stripe.com account during the user registration process.

When using this add-on, your subscribers will stay on your site throughout the entire registration process, instead of being redirected to an outside site, such as PayPal. The user simply enters their credit card information and clicks Register.

Securely Process Credit Cards

All credit card transactions are processed securely through Stripe and no sensitive information is ever stored on your server.

Note: you should still always have a valid SSL certificate installed on your registration page.

Some Important Notes

Stripe has a few limitations that you must be made aware of, since Restrict Content Pro itself does not have these limitations.

1. Stripe only allows monthly and yearly billing for recurring payment profiles, meaning that you can have subscription levels that are billed once per month or once per year. You cannot have a subscription level that is billed once every three months. If you currently have subscription levels that are set to every other month (or any duration besides monthly or yearly), you must Deactivate them in order to use this payment gateway.

2. Stripe only allows percentage based discount codes. It does not allow discount codes that provide a flat amount off of the subscription price, so if you have any non-percentage based discount codes, you must deactivate them.

Requirements

Drupal version 7.12 or higher running on a Linux hosting account. Ability to send mail via php mail() command or SMTP . If you are on a shared hosting account please ask your hosting provider if they will let you use this plugin. They may block you if you send too many emails.

Drupal Module Installation Instructions:

• Download the file from CodeCanyon
• Unzip the file on your Desktop. You will see a “drupal-newsletter.zip” file
• Login to your Drupal 1.7 website
• Click Modules
• Click Install New Module
• Click Browse and select the “drupal-newsletter.zip” file from your Desktop
• Click Install
• Scroll to the very bottom and look for the Newsletter System, tick the box to activate this module, click Save
• Click the button at the top that says “Newsletter System” and follow the prompts

Newsletter Template Installation Instructions

There is a zip file called “newsletter-templates.zip”, unzip this on your Desktop. There are 4 folder, one for each newsletter template. Open a folder (eg: Boutique) and then open the text file (eg: Boutique.txt). Login to Drupal and click Newsletter System. Go to Newsletters > Templates > Add New Template. Type in the name of the template (eg: Boutique). Copy and paste the code from the text file into the big box. Click Save. Your template is ready!
