My Location is an Annotation based application that uses MapKit, CoreLocation and QuartzCore kits to pull the dat from Your current location, place a marker on Map view, and with help of different markers which You tag on Map, calculates the correct distance from Your current position to the selected marker.

Application automatically updates Your current location and the distance between You and Your selected marker.

No .xib files, just pure CODE !

Intro

Simple String is a plugin which displays hyper-linked ad string on your WordPress website. The plugin allows your visitors/advertisers to purchase and include their strings into rotation. The plugin does it in automated mode and accept payments through PayPal, AlertPay or InterKassa. With Simple String plugin you don’t have to pay any commission fee to ad networks, because now you can work directly with advertisers. It’s really easy: install the plugin and start making more money today!

Front End Functionality

The best way to describe how the plugin works is to show live example. Look at the top of “Live Preview” website or at screenshot below. Do you see hyper-linked string inside of color (yellow) rectangle? This is Simple String. Your visitors/advertisers can publish their own ad string there.

Now click at the small gray link “Publish your link here for X.XX USD ” at the bottom right corner of the box. You will be redirected to page for advertisers (view screenshot below). On this page you can fill up simple form and click “Continue” button. If everything is OK, system asks you to confirm provided information and redirects to PayPal, AlertPay or InterKassa to complete the payment. After that your ad string will be included into rotation.

In case of several strings, every time plugin select one of them randomly. During the day all ad strings are displayed approximately the same number of times. Your ad string will be shown as many times as you purchased. Of course, if somebody cheats and clicks “refresh” button many times the plugin doesn’t count them as separate shows. At the end you get statistics about your ad string by e-mail (if you set one during publishing the string).

Installation

1. Install and activate the plugin. Once activated, it creates menu “Simple String” in left side column in the admin area.

2. Click left side menu “Simple String >>> Settings” and do required settings. Set your PayPal ID, AlertPay E-mail, InterKassa parameters, price, minimum number of shows, e-mail templates, etc. Please look at the screenshot below to see what kind of settings you can do there.

3. Click left side menu “Simple String >>> Strings”. In this section you can manage all ad strings.

4. Create new page (or use existing one) and insert two shortcodes there. The first shortcode will be replaced by sign up form for advertiser. The second shortcode will be replaced by active ad strings stats.

5. Edit your theme files and insert piece of code in those place where you wish to see Simple String ad box.

Backups have two distinct purposes. The primary purpose is to recover data after its loss, be it by data deletion or corruption. Data loss is a very common experience of computer users. A 2008 survey found that 66% of respondents had lost files on their home PC. The secondary purpose of backups is to recover data from an earlier time, according to a user-defined data retention policy, typically configured within a backup application for how long copies of data are required.

Hot Backup Manager is WordPress plugin, which allows to create database and/or files system backups and restore them. This plugin is created for owners of WordPress sites and will be handy in site maintainance.

Backups creation is performed according to schedule configuration and not required manual support. The plugin is developed with usage of WordPress core CRON implementation, it means that you don’t need access to your hosting panel (or whatever you use) to setup CRON jobs.

The plugin could notify owners about successful or unsuccessful backup creation by email. Additional option is ability to attach backup file to email.

Compatibility

The commentsEngine is built using the latest in web technology. As such it works best in browsers using the latest standards. We recommend using a CSS3 standard browser. However this is a public facing app and as such it is designed to work okay to well with browsers down to IE7 . It is not, however, tested with IE6 or lower. Please keep that in mind before using this on your site.

This app uses javascript – there is no ‘unscripted’ version. It’s all or nothing.
