This jQuery plugin is a full page slider for navigating between web pages. For example, you could have your home page on one slide, contact page on another, etc. It is responsive and works in all major browsers (including IE 6 ). There is a neat fall-back feature where you can add an href to each hyperlink slide trigger so that the user will be directed to a cloned page somewhere else on your server if JavaScript is disabled.
As the name suggests, you can put anything inside a slide, which will scroll to view overflow just like any normal page. There is nothing I know of that will break it, and you can add an infinite amount of slides. This is exactly what you need to spice up your website.
Just to be clear, this plugin does not actually pull content from other web-pages. Although I’m sure you could do that with ajax or something, the script does not have that functionality and each slide’s/page’s content must be added manually.
KNOWN ISSUES :
1. When the browser window is zoomed in or out in IE 8 , the slides do not automatically resize to become full-screen. I’ve tried for ages to find a solution, but can’t. However, they DO resize when the actual window is dragged smaller or larger. This is unique to IE 8 . This shouldn’t be a big deal since there won’t be many people zooming in and out on IE8 .
2. When using jQuery 1.8.1, FireFox freezes when the many triggers are clicked in quick succession. Works fine with 1.7.2.
