Easy WordPress Mailchimp Integration Pro is a WordPress plugin that adds to the WordPress default registration form a multi select list of your Mailchimp lists. This makes easy for your visitors to subscribe to as many lists as they want at the same time they register on your site.

Installation

The installation process is very simple. Just like with any other WordPress plugin you will have to follow through the steps below :

1. Log in to your WordPress administration panel
2. Click Add New in the Plugins menu on the left side
3. Click on the Upload link at the top of the page
4. Locate and upload the plugin zip archive
5. After the package is uploaded and extracted, Click Activate Plugin

Description

Category Featured Image is a plugin to generate Featured Image (AKA Post Thumbnail) on the basis of first category of your post. Post Thumbnails is a theme feature introduced with Version 2.9 of WordPress. It was quickly changed to Featured Images with Version 3.0. Post Thumbnail, now Featured Image, is an image that is chosen as the representative image for Posts, Pages or Custom Post Types. The display of this image is up to the theme. Most Modern themes now use featured images in a variety of ways.

Installation

Once you have downloaded the zip file from Code Canyon extract the contents to a folder of your choice. Chances are if you are reading this you have already done that. Find the file called category-featured-image.zip. This is the plugin file. You can upload this file from your WordPress Admin

1. Go to Plugins > Add New
2. Select Upload
3. Upload the category-featured-image.zip file
4. Activate the plugin
5. Go to Settings > Category Featured Image
6. Set the options as per your liking

Alternatively you can manually install the plugin by following the instructions given here.

Usage

1. Set an external URL or choose one from media manager as default category featured image for each or desired categories
2. Incase Auto Post Thumbnail PRO is installed and active, a checkbox ‘Precede Auto Post Thumbnail’ will appear. If you want ‘Category Featured Image’ to take priority over ‘Auto Post Thumbnail Pro’ check checkbox and click ‘Save Changes’ button.
3. Click on ‘Generate Thumbnails’ button to generate featured images for your published posts which don’t have any featured image already set
4. Log containing Success/Failure report of thumbnail generation will populate below Progress bar

While adding or editing a post you can set or unset a the setting to skip automatic thumbnail generation

Description:

The PBload tool will display and log the actual server load averages (1 minute, 5 minutes and 15 minutes) and also display load graphics for different periods of time. The tool also provides the logged data in the CSV format, which allows the user to import the data into other applications like Microsoft Excel. To log the load data, a cronjob has to be installed which runs all 5 minutes and executes the log script. This tool uses the PHPlot Graph Library 6.0.0 and the Vera TrueType Fonts to create the graphics. Both, the graph library and the fonts are already included in the download package!

The PBload tool has a well written User Manual of 42 pages (1.7 MB – PDF format).

This script is for everyone who wants to monitor the average server load on a Linux host (You need to know how to upload files to your webhost, how to edit a configuration file and optional, how to password protect a directory.)
