This is a long waiting version of LivIcons (Live Icons) for WordPress, developed as a shortcodes plugin.

What are LivIcons? They are a cross browser vector icons, built with JavaScript, with individual mini animation for every icon (except ‘Brand names’ ones). Email Verify is a PHP script that allows you to verify email addresses without storing anything in any databases. It will send users an email requiring them to click a link to verify their email before their email is added to whatever you want to add it to.

Email Verify uses secure SHA512 hashing validate email addresses meaning users cannot simply hotlink to the verification page and you can easily customise this script to work with your existing registration system or easily add verified emails to a newsletter database. This is programmed in an entirely functional manor allowing you to easily use the functions included in this script anywhere you want, these functions are fully documented.

This script includes a full HTML example using HTML5 email validation alongside a Javascript validation fallback for older browsers. All data is sanitised to prevent XSS attacks.

This is how it works:

1. The user enters in their email addresses.
2. The will be sent an email with a link to confirm their email.
3. The user will click this link.
4. You may then include a form offering the user to choose a username and a password or simply add their email to a newsletter database.

Note that you will require PHP 5.1.2+ for this plugin to work as it uses the PHP hash function to ensure the system is fully secure. This uses the stock PHP mail function, but you can easily change this function to use whatever system you prefer.

This project is all written in Xcode using the iOS SDK. This app currently supports iOS 5+ and using ARC. No storyboards used in this project, since it only has 3 view controllers and it’s just not necessary.

The project is using the forecast.io’s API to get the latest weather information for the given location. Location can be added via GPS or a third party class that is used in this project and it’s almost the same as in the iOS’ built in weather app’s, you start typing a city or country name it gives you back a suggestion list, where you can select the one that you searched for and after selecting the app will download the weather information for that location if it’s available.
