Major screen capture & productivity tools built into Zapture:
Screen Clipper
The Screen Clipper tool allows you to easily capture a selected area of the screen and save the selection as a BMP, GIF, JPG or PNG file to your clipboard and/or save it as a file. Saving images to a predetermined folder can be automated in Zapture’s options.
Screen Color Picker
The Color Picker tool allows you to choose a color from the screen and copy its HEX value to the clipboard by pressing “Ctrl+C”. This tool is handy for coordinating colors from screen captures to document text, graphics, and more.
Magnifier Tool
The Magnify Area tool allows you to magnify a portion of the computer screen. Dimensions are from 1:2 to 1:10. The magnified area can be saved to the clipboard by pressing “Ctrl+C”.
Screen Rulers
The Ruler tool provides you with two measurement sub-tools: vertical and horizontal. Rulers can be easily moved and resized with the mouse.
Size Tool
The Size tool is another alternative measurement tool. This is a resizable rectangle that displays the current coordinates and size of the screen. It helps measure blocks, UI controls, etc.
Screen Clipping History
The Clipping History tool allows you to view a collection of all of your screen captures in one window.
Ipsum Text Generator
The Ipsum Text Generator tool allows you to quickly generate placeholder text. Options allow you to select text style and length.
