Ares Essentials 2.1

Ares Essentials is a quick solution for uploading and sharing files on the Internet. The whole system is built on speed, which makes it able to retrieve the entire Ares Essentials during 795 milliseconds with all uploaded files.

Ares Essentials also supports file upload through a smartphone with OS Android.

You DO NOT need any MySQL database because Ares does not store any personal information like email, username or password. The only requirement is GD2 library for image thumbnail however, 99% of commercial hosts have it. If your host does not have GD2 library so it does not affect to the operation of the Ares service, just only thumbnail images are not displayed.

Installation

Installation is very simple, just unzip all the files from archive and upload them on your FTP and Ares will automatically configure.

Installation

1. Download Ares Essentials from CodeCanyon.
2. Unzip downloaded archive.
3. Upload all files from unziped archive into your FTP.
4. Done! Ares will be now automatically configured for your domain and you can now start uploading and sharing files.

About Web Crawler

Web Crawler can be used to get links, emails, images and files from a webpage or site.

Web Crawler has a simple and intuitive interface.

The crawler is multithreaded and optimized for performance. It scans the webpage based on MIME types and file extensions, so it can find hidden links.

The “Deep crawl” feature allows the crawler to search all the linked pages from the selected website.

After crawling, the Web Crawler will save all links and e-mail addresses to the selected folder, along with all the crawled files.

How to use

On the top is a box for entering the URL to crawl.
Underneath the URL box is a folder in which to save the crawled files. The last box is for file extensions that the crawler should look for. If the file extensions box is left empty, then the program only looks for links and e-mails on the page and saves them to the linkList.txt and emailList.txt files in the output directory.

The application is primarily meant for subpage crawling, but can crawl a whole website when the “deep crawl” option is checked. This option is very resource intensive as it tries to make parallel connections to the server for better performance.

When you are starting a new project enable FireGrid and select the proper horizontal and vertical grid, FireGrid is able to save your selection with cookies, therefore you can refresh the page, close your browser or restart your machine without losing your selection.

A fire icon allows you to turn on and off the grid whenever you want, for example you can enable FireGrid to check the alignment of a specific element on the screen, then by clicking on the fire icon you can turn off the grid to work on the CSS with FireBug or the Chrome Developer Tools and then you can turn on again the grid to verify your work.
