Impact Plus Chat – Lite Version (Help and Support Tools)

With a few tweaks, can be integrated into existing user database (read below). But i CANNOT providse support for that.

Open ipChat/include/config/config.php and replace these lines with your user database details

Note

The name says it lite, but its does not :P
This CANNOT be integrated with existing user database when installing (just disabled), but a few tweaks, editing a few lines (easier than original Impact Plus) can do this job.

Server Requirements

  1. PHP version 5.3 or greater (required)

  3. You must disable session.auto_start in php.ini (required)
  4. Some PHP Extensions and functions (optional)
    • GD extension is required for Image processing (optional) (recommended)
    • cURL extension is required for Auto updates and stream rendering (optional) (recommended)
    • zlib extension is required for a Better data output and Performance (optional) (recommended)
    • zip extension is required for Auto updates & Plugin installations (optional)
    • File uploads are required to be enable to use Attachment feature (optional) 
Javascript must be turned ON in internet options in order to use all features of Impact Plus and it's Admin Panel, since they are built on top of the famous javascript library jQuery

Installing

Point your browser to http://path_to_ipChat/install.php , where path_to_ipChat is the url to ipChat folder.

If your site url is http://mysite.com/ and you were extracted the files to your server root. Then the url will be http://mysite.com/ipChat/.

If the file config.php exists in your server already, you will an error message saying “Configuration file found, Please delete conf.php and restart the installation”. At this point you cannot continue the installation.
To overcome this situation goto ipChat/includes/conn/ folder in your server, then find and delete “conf.php” file.

The installation will start automatically and will take you through the steps necessary to install Impact Plus.

Prerequisites

In order to initialize Impact Plus, the famous javascript library jQuery must be included in your page before the Impact Plus scripts, where yo want to display the Chat.

This game is somehow similar to famous pong or breakout games and you have to keep the stone in the screen as long as you can. 3 sides of the screen are closed and your platform is on the right side. The stone starts moving and after hitting the walls, goes to a direction and you should prevent it from exiting the screen and hit it back at the walls! You will get a score based on how long you were able to hold the ball in the screen and then you can submit it in the leader board. But remember, this game isn’t very easy!

    What Is Flips?

    Flips is a powerful WP plugin which allows you to create flipbook lists of the posts, pages or custom post types. So, you can create awesome testimonials, services, works, posts, pages, products, and so much more. As a big addition to this, you also have the ability to filter these post types. You can filter them by time intervals like 2 days ago or 15 days ago, but you can also set the time interval by yourself. When you are setting the time interval you can add start point and / or end point. Each one of the points can be set by day, month, year hour and minute.

    Next awesome thing is that this plugin scans for the registered taxonomies of each one of these post types, and creates filter for that also. For example you can choose to display all posts from category “General” which have tag “music”. Same thing applies for every other post type and their taxonomies.

    Of course you can combine intervals and filters and also sorting and ordering. You can sort results by:

    Overview

    When you create a link in WordPress, it’s hardcoded, meaning that if you ever change the slug from for example,

    http://example.com/one-awesome-post

    to

    http://example.com/my-cool-post

    you would have to go through each page or post in your site where you have added a link to that post and update it.

    Another issue is if you ever change your domain: all your links are broken since WordPress hardcodes them.

    With Internalinks, the links are generated dynamically by its ID (optionall by its slug but not by a static URL) meaning that once you add a link with Internalinks in your page, you won’t have to go back and change it if you ever change the post slug or change your domain or even move a site to a subdomain.
