Installation
The installation of MAP-PLUGIN is leightweight an easy. No prgramming skills are required. Follow the following steps:
1) Use the Plugins -> Add new -> Upload menu and select plugin’s zip file to open. 2) Wait for the upload to complete and activate the plugin. 3) After that, insert the following shortcode into the text of a page or a post where you want the map to be: `[mapplugin map=”Map-Weltkarte-Kontinente” config=”worldmap_demo”]]`.
Configure map
After the installation configure the map in the configuration panel in WordPress. The configuration settings allow you to:
– Change the name of the map – Specify the slug of the map – Change dimensions, height and width – Change the colours of the map elements – Define the colours of the text
Add tooltips
You will be able to add tooltips to any maps. Adding tooltips includes:
– Add a specific label to tooltip – Link tooltip to specific URL – Change typeface, such as font-family and size – Modify the font colour – Modify the hover colour of each tooltip – Switch tooltips on/off
Add tooltip pins:
The plugin allows you to add tooltip pins. With pins you can mark a special city or place, in which e.g. you company is located in. You will be able to:
– Specify coordinates – Refer to a link with the tooltip pin – Name the label – Change the color of the tooltip pin

Tooltip-Pins hinzufügen
