I was asked to write a couple of submissions for an end credit vocal for a well-known film company (which shall remain unnamed) for a successful movie franchise. This was one of the demos. It was not used and I own exclusive rights and am making it available for your needs.
This ballad tells the story of a long-traveled sea-man returning home only to find his wife in the arms of another! He then sets off again and meets a gail that takes him back to shore where’s he’s accused of gaining false favor to plunder the villagers while they sleep. It has drama, irony, humor and a very catchy melody that’s perfect for sea-going or traveling moments in you piece. It’s also extremely fitting for evoking thoughts of happiness and frivolity.
