The sad lonely tale of… well any sad tale taking place in the mid west. The last cowboy wrangling the herd back into the pen as evening approaches. And yet, there is an emptiness that can’t quite be defined. This man does not want to go back to an empty home. There was a wife and kids once but that’s all gone now. Gone with everything I owned. I mean, you would think she would at least have had the DECENCY to leave the shag carpet but nooooo… even that was taken. At least I had my boots on when she left (while I was out putting food on the table)
Now, I look for her, as I star down that lonesome Highway.
