I’ve built 2 very similar (almost identical) WordPress websites for my client and I’m looking for a skilled wordpress developer to modify/customize my existing sites to match my PSD designs. I use the latest version of WP (2.9.1) and have installed the Thematic Framework (http://themeshaper.com/thematic/) with the Thematic Feature Site Child Theme (http://themeshaper.com/thematic-feature-site/).
(I may be looking to hire you in a full time position if things go well. If you’re not looking for a full-time position, I would still like to receive your proposal and work with you on this project.)

Website Requirements
* must make CORRECT use of Child-Parent themes (parent theme must not be touched! lots of info online)
* clean, hand-coded, table-less, CSS, XHTML code
* be compatible for both MAC and PC in Safari, Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer, Chrome (you will be required to test this using Litmus app & send me the results)
* have images that are optimized to load quickly (without losing of quality)
* match the PSD files pixel-perfect
* markup must be w3c validated
* have sIFR integration using WP-SIFR plugin
* fully-functional widget-ready
Candidate Requirements
This needs to be simple enough for my client to edit without breaking anything. The templates must be foolproof and bulletproof and you will be held accountable if they are not. Please only apply if you are serious and skilled in this specific type of wordpress customization. I will also require your ongoing support as I flow content into the site to make sure everything looks right. Please provide links to your work, explain your process, explain if you are interested in full time position, your skills and expertise, and any additional info that would help me understand why you are a good fit for this project. I need to have confidence that you know what you’re doing with WordPress, Thematic, & Child Themes.
