Windows Presentation Foundation – Fast drawing module by Silverstrands

I am developing a C# WPF application for myself and I need to draw little rectangles. The problem is that I need to draw 500-1000 in less than 1/10 of a second so the easy-to-use but far-too-slow “System.Windows.Shapes” are out of question… (Budget: $30-250, Jobs: .NET, C# Programming)
